The Sugden Centre is based off of Oxford Road in Manchester, parallel to the Grosvenor shop and the Mancunian Way.
The centre was named after the enigmatic 'Sugden family' of Emmerdale fame, and acts as the University sports centre for Manchester Metropolitation 'University' and The University of Manchester.
Admission is around £4.50 for non-members and an induction is required if you wish to use the free-weights area.
The free weights area is generally rammed all the time and we strongly advice that you do not join the gym unless you intend to just use the cardio equipment. The cross-trainers are particularly good.
