Thanks Ed lol. Not sure if that donkey exists, but if it doesn't it should. I am leaning the Triumph side.

I've pretty much got the weight where I wanted it now Jon. 86 and I'll lose it, 84 and I'll put it on. I think any more loss and my aesthetics would suffer, and I don't really have them to suffer. At this weight I feel ace and am heading well on the way to doing the things I want to.

Still using any extra weight on runs or have you decided against that?

I think there is some mileage in it Steve, but I stopped when I came down with something at the back end of last year and never got back to it. I will though, although I was always taught never to change a winning formula. My running is actually improving at the mo so while it is I'll keep doing what I'm doing. I don't think someone of my slowness needs slowing down further while the weather is a bit on the cold side either.

I was curious as I did a longer off road run yesterday and as I planned to be out a while took my hydration vest with 2 x 750ml bottles of water - couldn't believe how slow and heavy it was even with only around 2.5kg extra weight. I might help long distance stamina especially on hills, but I can't see how it would help "shorter" distance speed

My vest was marked as despatched at 10:43 this morning, and will be delivered by Hermes. I've never actually received a delivery from Hermes. Had loads of contact cards off them with no contact details on. I'm tempted to start drafting my 'where's my package' email for ebay as I anticipate chasing a refund next week, but I could be proved wrong. The trackit page was updated 5 minutes ago and apparently the package hasn't been picked up yetAngry

February's treats have been topped off with a set of snowboard bindings and a 4 hour lift pass for a week Wednesday night (not next Wed. That's box-fest) on all my own gearGrin

Back sqt
40 x 5,5,5
80 x 3
120 x 3
150 x 3
170 x 2 - weighed 84.6K today so it's all coming together. Target bwt & target sqt. Just 3 reps to find.

DL
80 x 3
120 x 3
150 x 7

WE had a similar problem when wifey bought something - the email we got was just an update telling us the parcel had been delivered to our local 'hub' ....... it was poorley worded and confused us into thinking it was on the van !

I use myhermes for ebay and can say that every package has gotten to where its going.

I have received things from Yodel in the past Rick, so up to now they are better than Hermes in my book. The vest is coming from Stockport for delivery in Urmston. I'm informed it's in the national hub, probably in Warrington. I live in Warrington Unhappy
Musclefood and MyProtein comes DPD, and I honestly don't know how other courier company's compete. They are awesome.

Anyway, afforded myself a Friday diner treat with a bunch from work who dragged me to a Flamming Grill for a challenge burger meal. Nice food and reasonable, but I only managed about 90% of the 3000 calories they claim it is. Managed to yawn, fart and burp my way through the following.

Power clean
up to a few with 90. Lower back stiff and warming up wasn't easing it.

Press
60 x 3,3,3
75 x 3
85 x 2,2
75 x 5

Bag 5 x 2mins

Bench
70 x 3
90 x 3
105 x 3
100 x 5
85 x 10

Lat raises

curlz

Warrington Parkrun 31:31 according to Garmin. Just glad to get round this today, but a month ago this would have been PB territory so not unpleased.

weather wasn't great today also

I would love to be able to do it every week but the pre-race health n safety talk and the regulars all having their 'bit of banter' puts me off a tad

I deffo heard , more than one 'get on with it'

I don't even listen to them. I'm well into my turned up playlist before they start talking.

Time came through at 32:00. 30 seconds is a bit of a disparity. Not the end of the world.
