Thank so much for your kind words
I really means a lot
between all my friends family strongman buddies ans so on I have been touched by all the positive messages
so far it just over a week since opp
and the insane pain and swelling has calmed down stopped taking all pain killers which I am glad about if I am gonna damage my kidneys I want it to be from orals not f**king pain killers!!!
Although I really miss the super strength morphine they where giving me in states f**k that stuff blow your mind
moving about is much better up and down from bed to bathroom is much better swelling going down good with lots of ice
started using my EMS machine on upper body to keep muscles ticking over
plan is to give it another 3 weeks with legs totally straight then start introducing more range of movement
once I am able to get legs to 90 degrees I am back in gym benching and so on
I am not gonna rush anything or do anything silly but it's nice to have goals to keep you focused
so thanks again all you guys and I'll keep everyone updated

Keep your chin up Andy.
I've been sidelined before with a serious back injury and know how being in serious pain can really get you down and mess with your head.
Keep that positive mindset and you will be back soon.
All the best.

hello my fellow sugdenites it was just over a year ago i got injured and i though i would make a little video to show my progress and say thanks to all the people who have helped me and supported me over the last year.
i put this up on my facbook last week and was gonna put it up here but though i would leave it untill Ken and myself stopped getting the hating!!

on another note after i got injured in the states and my mum could not get in contact with me, she googled my name and this thread came up and was able to find out what had happened and was touched with all the kind words
so thanks sugden

I look awesome in your video.

Just as importantly, well done Andy. In awe at the progress you've made since looking at you lying in bed taking 20 mins to get up and zimmer yourself to the toilet and now. I think any and every competition you've done in the past is shadowed by what you've achieved in the last 12 months. The vast majority would have packed it in but you've worked your nuts off to get to where you are now.

Empty vessells mate!

Mate, I'm touched I make you feel that way.

On a serious note, many others have been through injuries I'm sure, but watching him come back has been totally awesome. With leg braces and crutches he entered the gym and was pounding out 180kg for reps on the bench press. Watching him squat for the first time, shi*tting himself with only the bar, it's again awesome seeing what you've done now.

Onwards and upwards. I may deride you on a daily basis for being a complete tool but you have every right brag about your achievements and sheer b*lls for getting to this stage.
