Anybody interested in these?

[IMG]http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g322/n1ck9/photo1.jpg[/IMG...

I've only used them a hand full of times, they are in mint condition with a bit of
dirt on them, think I paid £29.00 brand new.

I'm asking £20.00 for them plus any postage charges if needed.

Cheers

Deffo interested. Do you know what they add at the top of your deadlift? Stand on scales with one and double it around your feet, then stand up with it arms straight. Tell me how many kg heavier your scale shows, and i'll do the same.

Well this way I can compare them to what I already have. One of mine has what looks like a cut or tear, and it scares me s**tless when i'm doing reverse band box squats with 230 odd....

I've never really understood the benefit of reverse band set up compared to normal. Obviously you will have about 60kg of bar weight maybe and a f**k load of tension but doesn't it do the same job? and is a bit safer if the band snaps.

This isn't really the place for this discussion though, I have nothing useful to add Happy

It's completely different. Lots of weight with rev bands taking weight off bottom feels pleasant, as the weight acts like weight at the top and just feels like less weight at the bottom
But vs bands, it feels like weight at the bottom bu the tension atthe top is horrible lol keeps u in one plain, plus way more taxing on the joints.

Bands shouldn't snap unless they're really old and you've got them on way too tight. E.g "quadded" instead u could just use a thicker band doubled or use two of the same bands and double them. Not exactly the same, but counting exact amount of band tension is a bit ridiculous i think

I am so glad you said this! I was beginning to think the world had gone mad!

Reminds me of my uncle used to tell me he was working on being strong enough to pick himself up by the ears. Grin

The gym that I train at doesn't have heavy enough dumbells to hold the bands down securely - they only go up to 40kg.

Stand on the bands if dead lifting that will hold them down, tie around power rack if squat or bench. Best way to see what resistance bands are at the top is, put the bands around a bar at the top of your squat, deadlift, bench then wrap bands around with another bar dangling on the lower end of the bands. Then add weight to the lower bar until it touched the bottom of where your rep would get to, for a deallift this would obviously be the floor, bench would be chest height whilst lying on bench etc.
