nothing to hide, please follow my life on webcam Member 255, 3732 posts | It will be interesting to see what effect this has. Will it increase the number of IPF lifters, or simply divide the current lifters in two and lower the standard? Will lifters want, or have the time (and money) to lift in both equipped & unequipped? Will this pull lifters away from other Federations?

I won't be lifting 'classic' I love kit, but unfortantly it is the future of our sport. It grows with popularity every year and you can't resist change

Maybe the Olympics is a pipe dream, but unequipped powerlifting will have a better chance then apparel based stunt lifting.

Most people in strength sports find it hard to appreciated equipped lifting, so I'd imagine the general populous would be at a loss.... Who knows though? Anything could happen....
