on the deads, ive done 230 but would guestimate the 240 mark.

i would imagine u have a new pb in you if u got them up fast.

good work buddy, 250 not far round the corner from you

210 last weeks was new PB, but hope to have 230 nailed by spring

have only deadlifted on off (8 weeks max) until autumn 2007, so expecting some good progress

big bad bench training last night;

Bench
60KG x 12
100KG x 10
120KG x 6
140KG x 5
145KG x 3
150KG x 3 - this felt really comfortable, which I was glad of, as had been struggling with bench of late

Have now formulated a three week plan for attempt at 175. Next week will be same as above with 155x3, next week as last with 160x3, then on 3rd week will go for 175 single.

DB Incline Bench
60KG 4 sets of 6

Viking Press Machine - Up in Weight each set - 6, 6, 5, 4, 3 - Not sure of weight, but last one felt very heavy!

Cable Cross Over Superset with Lateral Raise - 3 sets of 8 on each

Good workout, very pleased. Looking forward to nailing 175 in 3 weeks Happy

PM BrynEvans, you would still have time to get in if you sent your membership forms off ASAP and just tell Bryn you're waiting for a number on the competition entry form.

He might let you lift without a singlet as it's your first competition, I'm sure there would be someone off the site there who could lend you one though.

i should have a spare singlet mate if you get stuck.

But you would need one for BDFPA comps as well, so it would be good to get one Grin

raw bench only comp suits you like a fist in the eye. Good plan!

have just bought my fetching Leotard for 16th Feb, so should be able to lose my comp virginity Tongue

Anyway, Friday, damm squats day:-

Squats:-

60KG x 8
100KG x 6
120KG x 5
130KG x 5
135KG 3x3

OK, but my form still needs work, as does my cores strenght, which am not at all happy with a mo.

CG Bench
60KG x 12
100KG x 10
120KG x 6 set of 4

Various Straaight bar and rope pull downs, plenty of drop sets, then done

Not bad session, but squat definitely needs a lot of work before April!!

Monday, quick deadlift session before out for a few tasty scoops:-

Deadlift
60KG x 10
100KG x 8
140KG x 6
185KG 3x3 - 3rd of 3 was a grinder but got up thankfully. 190 3x3 next week Happy

Seated Row 200LB 4 sets of 8

Pull-Ups - 4 sets of 4 @ BW

Dbell Curls 50lb 4 sets of 10

BBell Curls 50KG 4 sets of 6

Good workout, all done in 45 mins.

In hindsight should have givebooze a miss, now rough as a bears ass and huge CBA with work. Never mind Roll-Eyes
