So at midpoint of the battle of the bulge (5 weeks out of projected 10). So far its been going pretty well, down from about 19.5st to 17.5st. I would estimate somewhere around 12-14%bf, jeans have gone from 38" to being drowned in 36".

I've basically been fasting 9pm till 12pm and then consuming around 2.3k calories, 300g protein, 60-70g carbs and about 90g fats. I refeed once per week, but probably only around 200-300 carbs. I'm not struggling energy wise and feel much less sluggish on a day to day basis.

Strength has obviously gone down, but not radically as it has done when dieting before and i think this is down to the high protein levels. Its also quite liberating not ceaselessly obsessing over the weight being lifted, chasing one rep maxes.

My plan is to continue for another 5 weeks, adding cardio after weights and possibly on non-training days. May also drop carbs to 30-50 for a final push.

After the ten weeks i'm going to start trying to put some quality weight back on. I'm thinking of upping carbs to 150g with calories around 2.7-3K. Does this sound right or should this be increased?
