That is some epic pressing mate...those against the band ones will yield a big lift I reckon.

Lunch Time Conditioning

Run 3.5km
with 12.5kg weighted vest = 5 push ups on the minute every minute.

Took me just over 20 minutes so no exactly rapid but I don't care. Killed off the Push ups at 100 reps. Feel like I'm about to catch fire I'm so hot. very much a mental challenge today. Hated every minute of it but love that it didn't stop me.

Cheers mate. I'm sneaking in extra volume with a cluster rep on each of the working sets. That gives me an extra 1-2 rep above what I would be able to do as straight sets. It's starting to feel like there a little more in the tank so might be able to move on again soon.

The bands are amazing, they hit me hard right at my sticking point. I've no idea how much they add but it feel like a lot. The weird thing is I have more grinding power against the bands than I do with straight weight. No idea why that would be.

Doesn't take much for me to hate my life when doing conditioning, thats cause i'm lazy Grin

Nice pressing against bands there mate, not just cause of weight, but also stabilizing the lift, never easy.

That's what conditioning is all about isn't it? Pushing through when you don't want to.

I'm enjoying the bands a lot, just need to get more volume in. I did a little test today to find out how much force it takes to extend them. Its in the region of 30kg more of less. No wonder they make things so tough.

Ha ha cheers mate, I'm loving the giant set format, I get so much more work in so density has increased. The landmine twists are awesome, they've helped with core strength but also put a bit of meat on my lateral delts as well. Great movement.

TBH I'm a bit disappointed with the trap bar deads today but shredded hands can't be ignored. They'll heal and I'll come back and get the reps but just not today. I think I just need more chalk when its so hot. My hands sweat and when that happens so do tears.

Yep I have the inferno sleeves. They're neoprene and provide good heat which is what I'm after. If you want assistance choose something else but for heat they are bang on. My only complaint is they are a little short. For a munchkin like me it's not the worst thing. I can work around it but for a giant like you they may be a bit too short. Its a preference thing, I just prefer a longer sleeve. I have Rehband Knee sleeves and if they had been an options I would have got those. However the strength shop version is comparable but a lot lot cheaper. Put it this way, when these break I'll be replacing them with more of the same.

I uaually buy the knee sleeves for my elbows aswell for that exact reason you said i prefer a longer sleeve also and only want the neoprene ones, iv also been contemplating saving a little longer and getting the SBD sleeves.

I hear good thing about SBD sleeves but I've never used them myself so can't comment. I also here good thing about the Mark Bell stuff.

Lunch Time Conditioning

Mobility 5 minutes

Pick up Training partner (fireman's carry) run x 15 seconds
Run x 30 seconds

Repeat for 20 intervals (15 minutes)

Very simple template, challenging but not impossible I'll give it 7/10 for difficulty. I would have liked to use a light yoke (150kg) or perhaps farmers (75kg per hand). That would have been a proper challenge however I'm at work and do not have access to my equipment.

Sprint and Burpee/sprawl intervals on Friday, ten minutes of shear hell.
