Immense session today...started slow but massively improved, feeling very very strong.

Well first working set felt horrendous...far harder than they should have, seemed to have lost my groove, but settled into the movement and got the bar lower n my back and locked in tighter and moved well...filmed the last set and it felt like I could have got 10 out easy if needed so back on track. Squats will never be a natural lift for me but its all improving.

Damn pleased. Left lat still playing up but not hindering lifts from 180 on...weight seemed to pull the knot loose if anything. Best before was 260kg x 5 fresh...no squatting beforehand so loaded a 5kg extra and banged them out nicely...felt like I was going to throw up on rep 5 so quit but I reckon another 3 there comfy...still a rep pb is a rep pb. Now me being me I thought i'd try an new single, best was a slow 305kg so figured 307.5kg when fatigued was a better idea but no room on the bar to load that weight so removed added 2 25kg plates to make an even 310kg and I was very pleased how quickly it moved, possibly...just maybe a double there but enough for today. This is a really bad height for me so VERY encouraging.

I will be trying to bring these up, feels good on the back and on my niggles, done from a dead hang to chest on bar every rep, hate doing them but I feel its a productive exercise so will be hammering it.
 
Called it a day there, intensity fairly high and done more than I expected so all good. Very pleased with how strength is increasing, feeling leaner and stronger and despite niggles loving my lifting lately, I feel my technique all round is improving, another decent week done.

Started slow, first set of 5 felt very tough but go easier as I went on and tightened form up somewhat and ended the 5's with an increase to next weeks weight of 125kg...moved well enough despite the niggly shoulder and elbow. 14 moved nicely and so did the fatigued 145 at the end, probably could have done a 150...10kg under best peaked best fatigued on a cruise, not bad.

Cheers mate...for a fairly fatigued lift it was pretty simple.

Ok todays session...feeling very stressed, lots of things going on family wise causing much anxiety and tbh i'm struggling a bit. Bad sleep last night, workout not fuelled very well and generally not in a great place going into todays session but figured mentally it would do me good...

Well that was tough. Its weird, the weight feels like nothing but I fade so fast...guessing it has to be building a weakness because of that. Threw on the straps for the final 5 as hands were red raw. Also managed to throw up twice during these sets. Pleased with what I got done in the end though.

considering how you were feeling mate that was a blinding session.

Crazy session there mate, looks like it was good therapy. Its hard to lift when you've got other stuff going on but I personally always feel better for having made myself get under the bar. Why make a bad day worse after all.
