John said:Nice deadlift work, is that the juggernaut system or just chads? Wouldn't mind giving that ago,was thinking about cube method not sure it's for me. Even caught your headphones Happy

Ta mate. No its one I found on a Juggernaut article he used for deads to take his 700lb dead to near on 800lb...I've adapted it to work for squats and bench too Happy

Cube method looks interesting I must admit but never ran it mate so can't comment i'm afraid.

Lol I did mate but then I was a juggler lolol!

Dead Stop Floor Press

60kg x 10
80kg x 10
100kg x 5
120kg x 3
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
175kg x f half way up
160kg x 2 rep pb
150kg x 3
140kg x 5
140kg x 5

Seeing as it is my final week of pushing things I thought i'd try another 5kg increase lol...close but no cigar today. 160kg double moved ok, second rep caught the pin but no drama. Backed off to get some extra work in. Decent enough. Will be keeping these in my new plan...multiple triples.

Reverse Band Bench Press - Paused

180kg x 3
220kg x 3
210kg x 3
200kg x 3
200kg x 3
200kg x 3

Not moving that fast today but got the work in.

Seated Smith Machine Overhead Press

90kg x 5 rep pb
100kg x 3 rep pb
110kg x f
90kg x 5
90kg x 4
80kg x 10

Loving this exercise, died out on the 110 but no matter, again I got the work in and it feels very good.

Iso Hammer Rows

160kg x 10 rep pb
180kg x 6 rep pb
200kg x 3 rep pb
drop
160kg x 8

Getting very strong on these, very decent full ROM reps too, upper back in bits after, does the job that's for sure.

Side Lateral Raises

15kg x 15
20kg x 8
10kg x 25

Seated Front Dumbbell Raises

12.5kg x 8
12.5kg x 8
12.5kg x 10

Some targeted delt work to finish shoulders off, nice reps.

Cable Curls

75kg x 8 rep pb
75kg x 8
75kg x 8

Loving these, biceps really feeling the effect of them too.

And that was that, not a bad little session. Squats tomorrow where I may go for an all time pb on the back of last weeks triple, will see how warm ups feel. Next week will be a deload, 1 maybe 2 sessions only as I am away for a lot of it off work. The week after blast begins, new program begins and we go hunting strength Happy

Cheers mate...they are incredibly brutal. I reckon a double with 180kg will net me a normal 200kg bench...they are that tough.

I'll definitely be cycling this in at some point. They look too brutal not to try Roll-Eyes

These cold mornings at work are really not fun...feel quite tight and not on it at all going in to sessions as I get so cold, anyways todays session...myself and my mate had in mind squat pb's...200kg for him...242.5kg for me... Warmed up and did a little mobility to try get some range of motion...

Squats

60kg x 10 ...again high bar, right hand unable to get under the bar
100kg x 8...same
120kg x 5 hand around and got into position, still feeling uncomfortable
140kg x 3 bang on
160kg x 2
180kg x 1
200kg x 1 sloow
220kg x 1 got my head in to it and moved nice and fast
242.5kg x F lost line at the bottom and all tightness...pinned
242.5kg x 1 Lifetime PB! Slow...very very slow but depth checked from the side and it went up.

Well that was tough...walking 242.5kg out it felt light and I was confident but as I descended I knew I had messed up and it was over before it had begun Unhappy Mate then banged out his 200kg so I got my head into the
game and reloaded the bar. Came up out the bottom well but mid point I pretty much stopped lol...managed to push through for a very tough lifetime pb. Me best raw squat was 235kg...240kg in wraps at the peak of a blast so to get this 4 months into a cruise i'm happy. That's it now...deload next week then start afresh with reps and a new plan. Still hate squats and I am crap at them but they are going up bit by bit.

Tempo Deads - Beltless

140kg x 5
180kg x 3
180kg x 3
180kg x 3
200kg x 3
220kg x 3
260kg x 3 default pb

I really enjoy these, could possibly do them a smidge slower but for first attempt I am happy....was focusing on a fast pull but a slow descent to find perfect hip position. Will be putting these in during my bodybuilding phase later this year I think as they feel really productive...so tough but they feel really good.

Belt Squats

105kg x 8 rep pb
105kg x 6
105kg x 6 volume pb

Continue to build and continue to feel really good...these have made massive differences to my squat without doubt.

That's it..squat fail and then re-attempt wiped me. Deload next week...1-2 sessions, maybe none then everything kicks off the following Monday. Time to chill now though.

Vids
