Lol...it was tricky last night tbf mate...its calves that cripple me...ok today but 48 hours after they really hurt lol.

Todays session and it was a big one, bodyweight down another 1lb today...

Seated Smith Machine Overhead Press

40kg x 12
60kg x 10
80kg x 5
102.5kg x 3 rep pb
80kg x 11 rep pb

80kg x 9

Decent, all up on last week and feeling very strong.

Charles Glass Side Laterals

11kg x 15 rep pb drop 7.5kg x 15 drop 5kg x 12
11kg x 15 drop 7.5kg x 10 drop 5kg x 9
11kg x 15 drop 7.5kg x 8 drop 5kg x 8

Brutal, sickening pump, reps all up on last week and form kept very tight. Massively painful movement and all loaded on to the medial head.

Front Plate Raise

20kg x 12
20kg x 12
20kg x 12

Again reps up and the tip forward style at the top really peak contracts that anterior delt really well.

Wide Grip Upright Rows

20kg x 25
20kg x 25

I like these but currently bicep does not so keep so left it at 2 sets, good pump though.

Cable Side Lateral raises

7.5kg x 20
7.5kg x 20
10kg x 15
10kg x 15

Forced more and more blood in to the medial head and felt immense, banged out quickly.

Reverse Pec Dec

Again got a great contraction and focus on the rear delts, got a great squeeze each rep.

Wide Grip Behind Head Pulldowns

65kg x 20

75kg x 10

Crazy pumps.

Behind Head Smith Press

60kg x 9

Finished delts off completely, felt really good.

Tricep Rope Pressdowns

Still managing to do these without aggravating elbow, felt decent.

Machine Preacher Curls

Keeping things steady here with no huge ROM as bicep continues to heal.

SSCV

20 mins treadmill - 120bpm

Upped my speed, fitness coming back very quickly.

And that was that, nice session, lots done but didn't take too long, moving quickly. 4 days off now and some nice R and R, will try get a little cardio in over the weekend and might have 1 cheat meal but will see. Next session will be block deads and back on Tuesday. I filmed the 102.5kg x 3 press, i'll put up later if I remember but its hardly thrilling viewing these days lol.

I used to get sore calves from GHR and kneeling hip extensions. It's murder. I now use them as a target for heel strikes when infighting. I'm nice like that.

Great stuff again today, insanity volume has returned. I honestly don't know how you do it mate.

Haha that's evil mate!

Bodybuilding mate, way easier than powerlifting, or different should I say but recovery is way quicker.

Week and a half in to cut...4lbs down, 3/4" off waist.

Fat dropping off and muscle is going on without doubt, no idea where I will end the cut weight wise but I can't see me dropping under 100kg at this rate.

Awesome work, I admire your iron will, what ever you decide to do you get s**t done, you should take a pic of yourself now and do it again in a couple of months to compare.

Thanks mate, I have took a start pic mate, will do one a week until the end, goal is the same as my avi but much heavier...was around 84kg in that pic, ideally I want to be around 100kg this time around.

Cheers boys...work in progress, all going very well so far, firmly in cutting mode now and feels good after 2 years of bulking lol..

4 days off the gym but stuck to my cut and fat continues to drop.

I tried my proper bodybuilding cut dress shirt on yesterday as me and missus going out next week...it fit just right on my birthday end of march, yesterday...half a stone lighter I couldn't get it on...chest, back, arms and delts have all grown whilst cutting, very very pleased with this, just annoyed as it was a favourite shirt lol.

Anyways back in the gym today, hayfever kicking in and was hot...made things a little uncomfortable but was itching to lift...also had a sports massage the weekend and feeling so much better for it....

12" Deadlifts

60kg x 10
100kg x 5
140kg x 5
180kg x 3
220kg x 3
260kg x 2
310kg x 4 rep pb

Really pleased with these, i'm thinking I either stay at this weight and creep the reps up or keep reps the same and creep weight up. I'm thinking increasing reps, getting these to 8 reps would do wonders for my back thickness, back felt massively pumped up from these. Moved well tbh.

Deadlift Rows

180kg x 6 rep pb
180kg x 6

Was meant to do 172.5kg for 8's but couldn't be bothered switching plates. No matter, moved well.

Yellow Back Machine

140kg x 10 rep pb
140kg x 10

Reps ups, moving nicely, got a nice contraction on these.

Chest Supported Rows

40kg x 12
50kg x 8

Again slow and methodical with a big squeeze, making a lighter weight very hard, immense pump and burn, felt really good.

Straight Arm Rope Pulldowns

40kg x 12 rep pb
40kg x 12

The isolation and burnt these give is bang on, weight up 2.5kg each set again and moving well. Rapidly becoming a favourite back movement.

Wide Grip Pulldowns

70kg x 10
70kg x 10

Paused on each contraction, at this point in workout lats felt wasted and these finished things off.

Behind Back Smith Machine Shrugs (No counterbalance on machine)

120kg x 12
120kg x 12
120kg x 12

Love these, really nice pump and burn in traps, been getting comments on how my traps are growing, they seems to be responding quickly, many receptors in there I guess.

Vacuums

3 sets of 15 seconds

Bringing these back in, still too fat to make a huge amount of difference but always found them beneficial.

SSCV

20 mins Treadmill - 122bpm

Fitness coming back very quickly, upping incline and speed now to hit target heart rate.

And that was that...bench, chest and arms tomorrow.

Okay good points today...my bicep and shoulder feels the best it has in weeks..zero pain while benching today in the shoulder thanks the massage, will be getting them weekly now.

Bad points...this hayfever/possible cold is really effecting me...sore throat, headache and very very tired with it, even my eyes seem to be closing up, I could easily have not trained and just gone back to bed between shifts tbh as I was shattered but I went and got the job done.

Bench Press

60kg x 10
80kg x 8
100kg x 5
120kg x 3
140kg x 3
162.5kg x 3
172.5kg x 1
142.5kg x 8
120kg x 15

Pleased with that, bench been feeling off, mainly due to the shoulder but zero pain today made things much easier, despite feeling a bit rough. The triple felt light and moved well and so did the 172.5kg, Few nice rep sets at the end and was feeling very good.

Incline Hammer Press

130kg x 12 rep pb
130kg x 8
120kg x 8

Strength soaring on these, 120kg x 12 last week was failure, put another 10kg n to that, faded quickly but happy with that, chest really pumps up from these.

Close Grip Guillotine Smith Bench Press

80kg x 11
80kg x 10
80kg x 10

Deceptively tough...develop a real dull ache through inner section of chest on these and gives a huge pump.

Upright Bench Press

70kg x 20 rep pb
80kg x 12
90kg x 8 rep pb

Again strength utterly rocketing, struggled with 70kg x 10 and 90kg x 4 last week, felt effortless this week in comparison, took to failure.

Strict Pec Dec

63kg x 15
63kg x 12
63kg x 12

Dropped the seat right down to try target more the upper portion of the chest and done very strict, so so painful.

Seated Leg Curl Tricep Pressdowns

95kg x 17f18 rep pb
100kg x 9 rep pb
100kg x 8

These blow up the entire upper body, feels kind of like a close grip weighted push up mixed with a dip, brutal but very effective and worth the odd looks lol.

Machine Preacher Curls

60kg x 10
55kg x 10
45kg x 10

Going steady still but building back up slowly and no pain.

SSCV

20 mins Treadmil - 122bpm

Fitness feeling much improved.

And that was that, despite hayfever making me feel really crappy I smashed a decent session, bench feels back on course and upper body feels nicely pumped and worked.
