Love how that beef brisket recipe has 97g protein per portion!! I think I could stretch it to 8 portions instead of 4.

Dave, how does the quark change the texture/taste of that there meal? That's a pretty cheap one!

Makes it creamy and rich with the tomatoes. It adds about 15grams of protein per serving so is pretty important from that respect.

If you were to have it as a side, or with white fish added to the mix I would possibly leave it out.

Yes it does add a good chunk of protein. Thing is I dislike the actual taste of quark, does it add that sourness?

I do imagine white fish goes quite well instead/as well. Probably disintegrate entirely.

Solid. Cheap is the way forward and going to tighten up thr budget a touch until xmas so some good ideas here. Ever done much with liver?

And where do you get chicken thighs for 3 quid a kilo???
