Ive hit a few badgers in my years hard headed bas***ds they are, but the best ive heard was a friend i work with.
In the works van one day and we hit another badger down a country lane and i say "cant believe the noise they make" to which he says "you want to try hitting a cow" so after about two minutes of me laughing hard and telling him hes taking the piss he tells me hes got pictures.

He brings his old phone in with the pics and he wasnt taking the piss, he'd been driving round the farm lanes nearby with a couple of mates(Needless to say he hadnt been driving long passed his test a couple of months earlier and it was his first car a peugeot 206) when out pops mr cow on the narrow road.
He said he hit it square on the cow simply rolled over the bonnet then screen then crushed the roof and over the boot.At this point i start laughing hard again as my mate really does sound a bit like Mr Bean makes the story even better.

Asked if the cow was dead he said " no the f**ker got back up and hobbled off limping". He said it felt like hitting a concrete wall just stopped dead.Tongue Grin

was sure i'd replied to this thread but i haven't.

I ran over a rabbit - it's entrails were wrapped around the drive shaft of my Evo IX MR FQ360.
I didn't realise until a few days later and began noticing a vile smell from outside the car.

It should feel privileged to have died at the hands of what I consider in terms of
technology and performance, the pinnacle of Mitsubishi's Lancer Evolution series.

edit - i have replied last year. different Evo, different animal.

I ran over a duck last year, t**t ran out into the road while I was hammering down the dual carriage way. I hit him square on, feathers everywhere and he got trapped under the car! I pulled over and kicked the body into the hedge. I was quite upset, I like ducks the little bread eating bas***ds.

My bro works for a train company and one of their trains hit a pheasant and high speed and the pheasant was actually embedded in the front of the train. It looked like some sort of messed up redneck vehicle pimping had been going on.

You don't want to eat anything that's been hit by a train.

I had a similar one. I hit a baby deer whilst rowwing up grass ready for silage.
It was wrapped around the tines reall good took hours to get it off.

was getting the train back down to euston a while back and it was delayed for some time by an 'incident involving cows on the line and the train in front'. eventually we slowly crawled forward and saw a dead cow dumped on the side of the track, pretty much split in two down the middle(the transverse plane to use the correct medical terminology), with just a bit of intestine and muscle holding the two bits together.

Sounds like a Damien Hirst art piece.

I'd never kill anything unless I was going to eat it or it was a danger to myself or blah blah blah , however I hit a rabbit when I first passed my test it ran across the road and double backed under my car I felt it bounce under the car ,I felt so bad I went back to make sure I'd killed it and wasn't suffering.then not so long back I was riding my gixxer towards Hereford when a duck took of from a verge and smack into my visor I swear it nearly knocked me out lol the duck was fine.

A tree. I uprooted it with the roof of a car, sans seatbelt. Said roof came perilously close to my head.

Standard Ford Escort RS Turbo brakes are s**t and should all be recalled to have ABS.

The brakes, lines, hoses, tyres have all been since uprated, but then again so has everything to do with power. I feel I shall smash another tree and this time probably won't have such a lucky escape.
