Today I am mainly missing legs as am rough as hell, think my little girl gave me a cold, dont normally get them. At least Igot 3 work outs in this week but wanted to do legs today to do the full set as its only body I have not hit.

So been proper ill coughing guts up etc, and did not feel like eating at all, but got on protein shots as go down quick etc, but feeling better today so hitting gym tommorow legs well overdue. Bloody annoyed to have a set back so early!

There's a lot of that illness s**t around. I had it myself and I'm still not right. A few days rest isn't a bad thing and don't be disappointed if things don't go to plan tomorrow.

Headed in today, still not 100% coughing and bringing s**t up but alot better than weekend.

Was goign to hit legs but a bus had dropped a load of school kids in gym and they where taking turns on squat rack and leg press.

So decided to hit shoulders knowing I should be 100% tommorow or friday for heavy leg stuff.

Standing Barbell Press

Strict - 30kg x 10
50kg x 8
60kg x 2
with push - 60kg x 3
65kg x 3
70kg x 1
73kg fail
50kg x 6
Need to still work on technique on getting the push from legs right I know I can do heavier.

Standing Press

27.5kg x 6 per arm
32.5kg x 3 per arm
35kg x 2 per arm
35kg x 2 per arm
27.5 kg per arm

Again I need to working on getting more of a push as its pretty much all shoulder at mo.

Seated Machine Shoulder Press

60kg x 10
70kg x 8
80kg x 5
85kg x 4
90kg x 3
95kg x 2
60kg x 6

Funny how I can seated press on a machine more than I can standing press getting legs into it?!?

Went in for Legs again today ,actualy was feeling worse than yesterday today totally full of s**t coughing it up and blowing it out lol!

Smith machine was busy as was leg press so did a little chest.

Dumbell Press Flat

27.5kg dumbells x 15
40kg dumbells x 10
45kg dumbells x 6
45kg dumbells x 4
Didnt feel that strong on those my shoulders still aching from yesterday.

Smith machine came free so stopped chest stuff, was very tight getting arms up to give bar at shoulder height after yesterday work out, had to do a load of stretching etc to loosen them up.

Terrible squatting (on smith machine)today -
20kg x 20

80kg x 10
100kg x 8
110kg x 6
115kg x 4
120kg x 2

Just could not get comfortable and was sweating like a pig! But they were much lower than before just past horiontal so at least there is that! Damn I wish I dont more leg workouts over the years!!

Witnessed the best squats from guy before me, loaded up 80kg and did 4 or 5 sets dropping about 4 inches lol!! And wrapped the bar in a ton of foam!

Thought Id do a arm workout leaving a fresh back for monday.

Lol, you mean the tricep stuff? Didn't notice anything in there about the bicep stuff. Alot about Smith Machine squats, I need to get to another gym , I know this is a big no no.

Seriousy though, am I wasting time doing arm workout like that for strongman should I have just had a rest day?

Was in a bad moood today (forgot my lunch and work was being s**tty)and got pissed on on my first few lifts with straps coming off etc and sti being full of snotty s**t from cold, did consider giving it a skip.

But then went and set a PB so happy!

Started day with 45 min jog then hit the gym in afternoon for chest and tricep workout.

My legs ache alot from Monday, so saving deadlifts for Friday.

Pleased as the personal trainer there offered to spot so I was able to go for a new PB on bench and I got it ,by 10kg so nice jump! So my total is up by over 20kg in the last month.

Bit bad that my PB bench is the same as my squat! Needs sorting!
