Damaged the anterior cruciate ligament in my knee in July so training has been basically non-existant since then. I've been doing sprints and bodyweight stuff lately to get back into some sort of training.

Bodyweight is way down, weighing about 68-69kg at the minute.

Had my first squat session since the injury today.

Squat:
Bar x 2 x 10
40kg x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 1
120kg x 1
100kg x 6

Leg Press:
100kg x 10
180kg x 5 x 10

That was it.

No problems from my knee which is the main thing. Weights were a challenge even though it was only light. I could tell it had been a while! Every session is going to be as simple as that from now on to keep me interested and hopefully progressing again.

It was my first squat session in 3 months and it seems to have destroyed my legs, I think I'm allowed to moan.

5 mile run this morning, ate a lot and then went to the gym around lunch time.

Deadlift
Bar x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 1

150kg x 1
160kg x 1

120kg x 8

Pull ups
BW x 8, 8, 5

They were done with different grips. Wide overhand, narrow underhand and neutral overhand.

Hyper Extensions
BW x 5 x 10

Felt good today. Glad to be training again.

Not really mate. Sunil hits 240kg with ease at the same weight and Duffy smashes up 270kg+! I've got a long way to go.

And they're only juniors, some of the seniors are a million miles away.

Paused High Box Squat:

None of them were that hard. Felt good to have a bit of weight on my back again. The 'box' waas actually a bench, so it was about 2 inches above parallel for me.

Seated Good Mornings:

200kg x 5 x 10

Sumo Deadlift Technique Work:

Little bit of a grumble from the knee during the box squatting. Nothing to worry about though I hope. I was quite pleased with 115kg to a low box when I struggled to do 120kg normally a couple of weeks ago. Box was set so it was waaaaay below parallel. Lower than I squat normally.
