I like your positive attitude though, you can always get something done. I've probably mentioned this before but check out Ben Bruno, he has knee issues when he squats and so has come up with all sort of stuff to work around it, very useful. Squats/front squats/ hack squats and there variants are all out and so are lunges for the time being. Im going to up my gym sessions to twice a week i know light weight leg press is ok along with leg extensions and curls they also have kettle bells. My knee has been sore as s**t today stairs have been particularly painful. | ||

If they cause you more problems then benefits then ditch them. Just not worth getting hurt over. Nothing stops progress like an injury. | ||
