Bench
40kg x 10
60kg x 5

78kg x 5
90kg x 5
102kg x 3
My god i'm weak on these. Plus have to note they didn't feel comfortable, felt it in one of my shoulders. Maybe try CGBP for main benching ?!

Seated OH DB Press
22.5kg x 10
22.5kg x 10

Short and sweet session as short on time. Have to admit it did not feel great! Was pondering whether to keep up with weights or just use KB's again. Think I will try another weight session and possibly just do 2/3 per week and do KB stuff as conditioning etc. That said may just keep reps higher though as trying to go heavier didn't feel good. Get a few weeks of volume in and then re-evaluate methinks!

Some good sessions mate

On the reps front like you said go lighter and do more reps i dont go below 8 reps and go up as high as 15 on upper body stuff and 20 on legs.

Nice work mate.If there something I've learned over the years its to not do a lift if it gives you "bad" pain. Adjust bench to CGBP if it feels better, if you're not competing then who cares. If you're in this game just because you like lifting and you want to be stronger then what does it matter about specific lifts or rep ranges. Do what you want and try to make improvements however you can. If that's adding a rep or two then why not have at it. Keep it up mate, good to see you logging again.

Cheers mate. I think that may be the plan, just get some reps in.
Will decide whether to stick with 10x10 for a bit or just make something up myself.

Cheers mate, couldn't agree more and think I will go for CGBP and DB pressing. Have no plans for any lifting comps, more in it for the lifting and strength etc so benching not required really.

Have to admit it is nice logging again. Will get use dto it more and then have a look in others journals as not done it much these days.

I love this sort of thing, you end up learning so much in such a short space of time.

Very true. It is tough going as the sequences and scenarios etc are longer and more complex than usual. But the bloke is a good teacher so makes it a good session.
When it came to sparring I was bloody useless!! Happy
