Acting like an idiot appeals to casual fans. The most popular isn't necessarily the best. Ed has the biggest following and he has no major achievements outside the podium of WSM and the half ton!

Hall is actually shouting ''obese'', in some sort of cry for help.

Thor has the biggest following then Ed.

Ed has more Facebook likes, Thor more Instagram.

Facebook = Jeremy Kyle
Instagram = The only way is Essex

Overall though Thor has the most followers. Plus more are fans of game of thrones so will know of him, but not necessarily follow.

Well Thor is an actor.

Gigantor is the strongest! That's what really matters!

Shame that Z is out. Not sure if a legit injury or just not hitting numbers.

Jerry Pritchett was first reserve...Whose place had he already taken?

Regarding Licis ...He has the most heart out of all the strongmen but not sure he will cope with the weights well...Deadlift he will be fine with.

Using Kieliszkowski/Jenkins as an example of new comers doing well is a bad one...They were unknowns so had basically no other competitions to do and 1 year to prepare whilst knowing the events. Licis has 2 weeks.

My understanding is that Pritchett got bumped to the full roster so they were going to do 11. It may be back down to 10 with Wildauer saying he can't compete due to previous plans. Licis may not be too far off the mark as he was already prepping for the Arnold Australia. The throw and bale tote may be a bit much for him as he didn't do well at the kettlebell throw at WSM and the Arnold Australia yoke is only 500kgs. But I don't expect him to get in the top 5.

I don't think Arnold qualifiers meant a fat lot for this comp and Terry Todd just invited whoever.

I would say Eddie Hall turned this down to focus on ESM.

Fair enough..That actually looks like good transparency for once.

Just depends on the criteria for auto qualifiers.

I was amazed. Each one would have passed in a PL comp and so, so easy for him.

Wouldn't suprise me if he could squat 420kg without any equipment.
