Cheers mate, not sure what I’ve got myself into tbh, the guy I’m doing it is a ex marine so he probably push the pace quite hard but looking forward to it like a challenge

Not too bad, squats have gone a bit crap kind of lost my technique couldnt get depth tight hips , so lots of stretching plus tried some heeled shoes for squats that totally screwed it up,I'm not a great squatter anyway,deadlift is ok might be a pb in the wings, bench wise had to ease back a little like strain in my armpit? But it's eased off now, trying to get tighter the new shoes are helping with not raising off the bench, so all is pretty average lol could be worse .........could be marching over the beacons.hope you have a blast.Happy

I think you should watch the chris duffin vid on mobility on youtube he does it with mark bell and silent mike, really good exercises for warming up the hips for squats and deadlifts which might help you out.
I think the only blast ill have will be out of my flair gun for mountain rescue to come save me lol

Yeah he does have some good vids, I’ve also recently got into Calgary barbell on YouTube, he is worth a watch if you haven’t already seen him

Bench
170kg x 4 easily 1/2 more in the tank
170kg x 4
170kg x 3
170kg x 3
170kg x 2 did these to make sure I got all the reps needed for the day

Close grip bench
150kg x 5
155kg x 5
160kg x 3

Lying tricep ext
30kg 4x8 the pump on these was crazy will be continuing with these

Played around with some chest exercises using TRX and cables

Cheers mate first set was really easy I’m tempted to go 200kg attempt on Monday and then start a new program, this one is taxing me a lot so I think I’ll have a look at something else

Has anyone tried the cube method been looking at this for the past few days and am considering starting it next week, just wondering how people found it.

Are you still going for 200 monday? If so Are you coming down to do the lift? Il gladly spot you if not my fingers are crossed. I'm looking forward to seeing you give the cube method ago see how you get on,think I downloaded th PDF but that's as far as I got Roll-Eyes

Yeah I think that was the plan to do it monday and then i'll start the cube on squats on monday, i'll probably stick to halo on monday Im not sure what time i'll get to the gym got a few things to do in the morning cheers for the offer tho, i'll have to do that over the weekend so im ready to go monday, are you going to have a go?

No problem mate il have my fingers crossed for you, have ago with cube? I was thinking about that today funny enough I may well give it a wirl it's only 10 weeks and it pretty close to what Ido anyway.
