If there is a comp, with enjoyable events, I'll do it, I dont give a f**k what weight cat it is

Unlike some, competing against guys 20KG+ heavier than me, doesnt bother me in the slightest Wink

A lot of guys safe in their weight class are less keen, most people who are around 120 but not good enough to challenge the really big guys are more keen.
Bish will be a big guy eventually so is not keen, Hixxy would OWN the catagory, so he is keen.
EDIT: And Martin wants a whole catagory dedicated to 90s WSM events for guys under 120kg
Thats kinda where we are i think Grin

Nice summary! Grin

And the lads who are 120 that aint strong enough for opens and too lazy to diet down for 105s but are definately strong enough for 120s are really keen!

It doesn't bother me either, I would still do opens.

I would do any comp that I am eligible for, looks fun and I can afford to get to. I just happen to think 120 comps could be a lot of fun

haha, it doesn't bother me either (ish)

I've basically decided from now on, I will only do comps that look cool to me, but the problem is, too many open comps are dull and too heavy IMO

to set the record straight

I would not do the 120kg category if it was setup. Im happy chasing juggernaughts of britain thinks its a fantastic challenge.

I would do a one off comp for experience and fun at U120kg.

Agreed 100% Happy as i said already, most 120s who cant compete with 160+ guys seem keen.

I would struggle to diet to 105, would not find it fun, and would most likely be considerably weaker.

I have no desire to be 105. I have no desire to be 140+ either. I love doing opens, but I would jump at the chance of doing 120s as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if your name was the 2nd one down for a 120 comp after JC, and purely becasue he would beat you to it as he is the first responder to almost every thread Grin

that sit around 120-140 and a pretty darn fat. .... can't diet to make 105 as it's to far but are never going to be competive in the opens (maybe down to personal choice aswell / supplements etc) they can diet to 120 get in some good nic be healther and compete competitivly in a sport making it more enjoyable instead of making up numbers and the like

This is what i'm conscious of when I read this thread. Happy
