Monday 4th June.

It was like training inside a sauna at the Farm tonight, so much sweating!
Nine lifters at play.
Weighed in at 119.45kg, much too heavy.

No problems.

Bench.

No problems although the 130 was on my limit tonight.

Nine lifters at a very warm Farm.
Weighed in at 118.4kg.

All felt very heavy, the 202 double really broke me, the 190 was meant to be a double (it took two attempts) and the 160 was meant to be a treble.

Bench.

Left it there, it feels as though I have fractured my right wrist. Will go down A&E at a quiet point tomorrow. Ibrupofen & Paracetamol tonight.

On a positive note, after watching the world classic last night i'm pleased to report that I am still the European squat record holder (M3 120kg class).

I bottled it on Monday Bill, the top set was meant to be 3x172.5 but the 160's were VERY tough and I was feeling VERY hot under the Farms tin roof so I took the biscuits off.

I've been feeling ashamed ever since, the 172.5 would have probably happened!

When are you competing next?

I'm doing the EM Masters in August (just for fun) then targeting Octobers British Masters in Belfast.

Competing? Not sure tbh Ian. I might do the masters. I am qualified. I'll see haow I feel in a months time. I'm gonna have a few weeks doing higher reps and less weight. I've been away 2 weeks in the last three, and am away from Saturday till Wednesday, so I just want to do a bit work to get the volume in.

Weighed in at 116.85kg, nearly 2kg down on Wednesday.

I'm putting the failure to double 182.5 down to heat exhaustion. Just felt drained and almost passed out.
