From now the plan is Tuesday close grip ( for volume) Friday (lightish low volume) Tuesday MAX OUT.

With bench I usually follow 1 routine for 2 or 3 months then change it, usually it stops working by that time.

OK session. Box squats were easier, but they were from about an inch higher, though still below parellel. Sumo deads much the same as normal. Not comfortable position-wise, but not heavy. Normal deadlifts were really hard. Difficult to get the bar moving and when I did they were still quite slow. Pleased to get 3 sets. Weight 90.0kg

Some good sessions and a lot of volume asual bill , I'm tired just reading that many sets lol keep it up, when are you hopingtoo try it your new Bench PB? Have you ever tried using a sling shot?

Maxing out on bench will probably happen on Tuesday. Won't be a real PB. 120 listed is my best in competition. I have tried a slingshot a few times. I am not sure how to use it consistently, tends to be an ego thing when I do use it.

Successful session, and the first 180 squat in nearly 6 months. Felt quite good too. Everything went quite well today, good focus, and who knew, if you try hard the weight goes up!! Weight this morning 90.1kg.

A bit disappointed today, not so much by my top bench which represents a 2.5kg increase on a month ago, but on the fact that my bodyweight has dropped by nearly a kilo in the last week. Gainz won't come if I am shrinking. 89.6kg this morning.

A bit of a disappointing session in the end. Started well. 160 pause squat that was not a grinder, all deqalifts up to 190 moved well. 210 was a bit sluggish and 225 barely moved....twice!! Maybe if a I had left this till Friday I would have been fresher, but I felt fine. No 2.5x bwt deadlift today. Weight this morning 89.6kg

Squats today actually felt good and consistent, though they were hard work. Deadlifts were hard as my back felt a bit dodgy, probably a hangover from last wednesday's max out and a weekend of bad living. Weight 91.0 kg, a bit bloated as a result of said lifestyle choices.
