In the future I would like to compete in the under 90 kg strongman, What is a good split for this please, I know you need a strong dead, squat and overhead press, as well as good triceps and biceps, but how to work this all in. Also how many reps and sets, Thank you

Low reps, lots of sets.

Squat 3 times a week.

Deadlift once a week.

Press 2 times a week.

everyone has their own way.
Try a powerlifting routine and practice events once a week if u can, seems to be what most do.

One key point would be to remain under 90kg.

where do you live ?

the southern qualifier is this weekend and the midlands (my proud homeland) and the northern are on the 23 april ...com and watch !!

Practise posing to peak your biceps strength also.

(PM Namonster, he likes showing males how to do his so called "glute spread.")

I think the most important thing when you start out is getting to a training camp with experienced competitors who can point you in the right direction.

x2 find a local training camp/gym with experienced strongmen and get involved.

dont worry about staying under 90 for now. i have gone from 98 this year down to 90kg now for this weekend

I need to get my strength up, I live in stoke on trent, the closest strongman place is prob olympic sports gym, has any one tried moss farm that aint too far i dont think.
