not actually strong Member 5779, 811 posts SQ 220, BP 150, DL 285655.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | I think it only minor, it wasnt feeling great this last week but, think today i wasnt keeping my glutes solid when i got the axle on my chest, then the deads after wont have helped. Middle of my back is swollen, booked in on Tuesday to see the osteopath so hopefully he'll be able to adjust what ever I have messed up. Then rest and stretching this week. Still looking forward to the comp tho, ots rare someone is ever 100% injury free going into a comp anyway | ||

Not bothered if i finish last, i feel like im at my best so far so aslong as i get the lifts in aiming for ill be happy. | ||

Just did a steady cut from 108 4 days before. But hadnt slept mu h so was feelinh terribe. Re feed didnt happen at all just couldnt get the food in. Event 1 110 axle clean and press 0 reps. Would have been a pb if i got it. Bit gutted as deep down i thought id be able to get 2 reps. 2. Deadlift medly. 220axle 240dead 260frame 40m. Forgot my converse so ended uo doing it in lifters, which didnt help the 2 deadlifts and then just couldnt get into 2nd gear o the carry so wasnt a fast time. A lot failed to complete the course so got decent points but should have done better. Event 3. 195kg husselfelt carry (weight they told us on the day) billed as 175kg on events list. Got over 25m could have done better as i wasted energy trying to lap it to get it higher initially. Still got decent points tho. Event 4. 500kg tyre flip. Not sure it weighed as much as this but managed 5 reps which was my target. Probably could have put a bit more effort in to me honest. Think the '500' got in my head. Event 5. Changed to 75kg 40m sled pull. Never been good at this, and was slow for the last 5m as legs just burnt out. Finished 11th out of 18? I think. Really need to sort my press out as that with i better performance id definitely have been in the mix to qualify. | ||

Felt like i had plenty in the tank and probably should have tried again but ditched it. Finish with 90kg 2x8 slow with rest pause without box. Leg press. (Plate weight) 100kg 2x10 160kg 2x10 220kg 2x8 280kg 2x8 320kg 2x6 Sldl with dumbells 6x10 (35kg) Goblet squat 4x10 @25kg plate Super set with Hamstring curls 4x15 slow paused stayed light but these were a killer. Deadlifts 60kg 2x8 80kg 2x6 120kg 2x6 150kg 2x3 170kg 2x3 190kg 2x3 210kg 6x2 found them hard towards the end Pendly row 8x3 quick reps 60kg Yoke 200kg 20m into farmers 80kg 20m 3 runs all around 16 seconds farmers coyld have been quicker no sure where the pace has gone. Keg press 50 x2 85x1 Tidy about 500kg of plates away... (time consuming) Stretch | ||

Bent over row 100kg 8x5 Band assistance pull up using a narrow grip 1x12 1x10 1x10 Banded face pulls (rear delts) 4x12 . No warm up or stretch as was short on time :-( | ||
