Miss all my q's when it gets heavy. Stone with tiny bit of tacky 90 to shoulder then loaded 5 singles 135 to middle platform equal pb. 135 to 4th just failed. Was close amd could have got it but playong it safe for sundays comp. Apart from feeling tight, im in a good place. | ||

not actually strong Member 5779, 811 posts SQ 220, BP 150, DL 285655.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | Been water loading this week (only due to a work meal the night before weigh in so need to be safe) Monday Evening weight 104.9 Wednesday Morning weight 108 - Evening weight 110 Thursday Morning weight 107 - Evening Weight 108 Did 30 minutes stretching Thursday night too, been feeling tighter than normal (which is bloody tight) even though I've been doing far less training recently. Friday Morning weight 104 good, can eat normally today, go steady on the meal tonight, then still comfortably make weight after an hour in a hot bath. Sleep has been ok this week, managed 6 hours each night (would love more, but there's not enough hours in the day). Just need to make weight tomorrow, then give it my all Sunday. | ||

Manimal monster u105kg at rotherham. 24hr weigh inMade weight ok, but had a s**t re feed and just bloated up. Ended up and 110 by start of comp but no idea how as only ate half what i was aiming for. Had a bag full.of nerves for this comp as the missus invited all her family so pressure was on. Event 1. 120 fingels finger 75 seconds. Had a nightmare the finger kept bouncing of the tyre to the side. Only managed 4, winner got 6. Think i came 7th. 2. 220kg frame. 30m (with a turn) in 16.06 was half a second behind the winner slow pick up cost me time. 2nd 3. 300kg yoke. 30m drop and turn. Roughly 19 seconds. 1st place. 4. 180kg conans wheel. 3.5 turns. Did 2 in training last week easy, but legs were already going after 1 today. Blacked out but new i ahd to give it everything as some.lads were better at stones than me. 1st 5. 90, 110, 120, 140, 150 stones. Was worried about the 1st one as its nearly 6ft high. Went up easier than expected. Jelly legs kicked in on last 2 but got them all up in 31 seconds. 2nd or 3rd. Came 1st overall, my first trophy, my first win. Felt great. | ||

Hack squat all slow down then paused 10 x10 25 x10 45 x10 60 x10. Annoying when ive done 250 before Ham curl Singles 35lb 5l 5r 5l 5r 5l 5r 5l 5r 35 10l 10r 10both G.h.r 3x10 my sciatic nerve was giving me all sorts of pain. Stretches to ease the pain. Gone home and done some foam rolling too. | ||

Dumbell 60 3x1 60 x4 was going for 5 but lost my line. Equal rep pb but no supports this time. 60 x1 Stone 90 to shoulder a few times 110 to 54" 110 to shoulder, only just failed loading it on the 66" no tacky 150 fail couldn't grip it today but it is about 1 degree here. | ||
