Motely crue autobiography (hilarious)

Bob geldolfs early autobiography (bit dull, but not bad)

Reclamation of contaminated land - c paul nathanail and r paul bardos

just finished "God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, f**king brilliant book.

Currently reading "Man the Hunted" which is an anthropological and paleontological study to the role of humans being pray animals to our evolution (as opposed to the popular myth of humans being hunters being integral to our evolution).

aye, i am a sucker for popular science books.

I'm reading derren browns book - after watching him live i can honestly say he could rule the world should he choose !!

he mentions dawkins book in the first chapter , so he and joni have more than a suspicious beard in common.

I'd love to borrow the Pavel stretching book and the Berardi, after you're finished with 'em.

Currently reading:
Gene Wolfe, _Peace_.

Just finished proof-reading:
Alexandre Borovik, _Mathematics under the microscope_.

Most recently read:
Kyril Bonfiglioni, _The Mortdecai Trilogy_
Joe Haldeman, _Forever Peace_
before that, a few graphics:
Warren Ellis, _Transmetropolitan_ (all 10)
Garth Ennis, _Preacher_ (all 9)
before that,
Charlie Stross, _The Hidden Family_, _The Family Trade_, _The Jennifer Morgue_, Accelerando.

I think that might be it since new year. Before that I read a metric f**kton of Feist at my mother's place for christmas relaxation.

You must read a lot Rick! Some of those books sound more for the academically minded I guess.

I will bring the stretching book in on Friday.

Yeah, I do read a LOT. And rather fast. A lot of my reading is rereading, though.

Only the Borovik I was proofing is academic out of those. All the rest is fiction. The only one of the rest that's, I suppose, "hard" is probably the Wolfe I'm reading at the moment - Gene Wolfe is a real writer's writer, loads of layers and ambiguities. I love his stuff, even when I don't quite understand it, and I haven't read this one before - so I'm a happy man atm.

A lot of the others have a fair amount of depth, and are full of ideas, but they're all very readable. Especially, of course, the graphics (or "big comics", as you might want to call them Happy).
