Originally was meant for a press, but too dangerous because of thickness and weight. I now know that it should of bee made from plate and made into a hollow box which would be larger and more capable of using size for leverage. Online steel calculator can get a close approximation of its weight. It seems like it should be the size of a suitcase. 1.5" handle 5-6" ends new toy may be a circus dumbilly

I usually follow your training log like a silent cyber stalker. But i feel after reading your beautiful poetry I can be silent no longer! Bravo sir! And also your training out doors reminds me of the principle Wim Hof uses. Do you find you rarely get sick?

Thanks for popping in and saying hi etc. Also for reading regularly. I do the same and read a lot as a lurker haha.
Yeah I don't get ill really apart from muscular issues where I tweak a muscle or trap a nerve etc. Always been of the opinion that if you work in the dirt, over time your body just adjusts to it and for me over the last couple of years that seems to have been the case. Everyone I know always gets flus, colds and stomach bugs etc. but the worst I get is the beginning symptoms and then it goes away.
I'm not a strong or robust guy by any means but I feel that rough and tumble does any body a lot of good. One of my reasons for training is to get overall more hardy. Working outdoors in all weathers does help this.

Billy, that's one big old block to press and I guess I'd be a little wary of the corners myself. I think you've probably made a good decision with it!

1 set of 17 reps with 50kg
1 set of 15 reps with 50kg
1 set of 15 reps with 50kg

5kg jump from last week on squats. Felt good and strong throughout.

AXLE SUMO DEADLIFT

This went so so much better than last week but there's a way to go.

AXLE PRESS
5 sets of 3 reps with 65kg (in video)

This was tougher today. A misload on set 2 and as you can see on the last set it was quite a challenge. A longer video today hope someone gets some enjoyment out of it.

I feel the fail was a confidence issue. A few weeks of practice and it may go better?

Interesting little session all in. I was stiff and immobile today. Felt cold and my niggles were all playing up probably from me being on holiday and being sedentary through it. Still, did my best. Was very happy with my pushies. Had a tweak in my wrist so all was good considering.

The pain I see. Great effort sir! I am in a restaurant next to punk kids being losers. I wish those younger guys that lift with you were here so we can give them a couple lumps of sugar. They ruined my meal being loud.

Tried to run in the morning for the first time ever.
My lower back was like a rod of iron with a current running through it.

Don't think I'll be doing that again. Back must need more time to warm up through te day or something. Never even made it to the mile mark it was so stiff. View is good though!
