If by winter weather you mean cold and snow, then no.

If by "winter" weather you mean cold and rain, then yes.

I'm way more motivated to train through the winter than I am the summer. Hate training in the summer when it's hot, nothing pleasant about that imo

I find I can train a LOT harder in the winter. I love it when it's freezing outside as I still sweat like a fat cnt. Summer here in 40 degree heat is going to be HORRENDOUS.

I dont think my motivation suffers particularly but I hate training in the cold. It makes my hips and everything feel horrible.

I don't struggle getting out of the house but the gym where I'm training now is generally freezing to the point were I can see my breath. It takes ages to warm up and my joints never really feel as warm as during the summer. In addition to this I need to wear 3 t-shirts and 3 pairs of skins under my shorts so it's not doing my washing basket any good!

I do have more joint soreness in the winter. I also have a tendency to have cold and bronchitis drag on for weeks, never getting really bad but not f**king OFF.

British summers with that cloying, still humidity can f**k off too. Around the equinoxes are the best times in this country.

Like the cold for training, but apart from that:

can't stand the endless rain and dull grey skies
my car can only put 1/10th its power down.
gf from tropical country droning on about the cold
and insisting the heating is turned up to 30C.

As scruff says, I still get down to the gym but takes ages to warm up there is no heating at all so cold is really cold and hot is really hot.

I agree with Jack and Rick, I will always go and train, but the colder it is the less pleasant it is. Really hot days are a pain, but are so few and far between that I feel obliged to like them. More than a week would get on my nerves, but when was the last time that happened ?

It doesn't stop me, but it makes it a real chore.

It seems the older I get the more I dislike the cold.

I haven't really felt my joints this winter though. Maybe because I've been consuming so many avocados.
