Looking at possibly buying a deadlift suit for the first time, any opinions on what would be the best option for a conventional puller?

I would be looking to compete in GBPF, if that's of any relevance.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice, the centurion is a squat suit isn't it. Will look in to it.

I'm in the same position and after taking bits of advice from people I plumped for an Inzer Fusion, legal for GBPF. Used it last night for first time, will need a few sessions getting used to it, hasn't given me anything yet but I can feel the potential.

Not much to add, except my mate pulls conventional in a narrowstance centurion too!

Narrow stance centurion also works surprisingly well for sumo pulling. Can get 20kgs out of mine after a 3-4 week cycle it. With more practice, some strength gain and a tighter one, I think I can get 30kgs as I reckon the carryover is a bit of a percentage thing relative to your strength rather than an absolute figure.

Are suits good for reps or better for max pulls?

Depends on what suit and how tight you have it

A suit that's slightly loose and made of a stretchier material (for example an inzer max dl) would be better for reps then a super tight centurion in which you may struggle to rep in but great for 1rm
