Glad you like it. Evans have some cracking prices on soke castellated kit at the moment. You can get the short sleeve gabba for about £80 with an additional discount code. Lots of other nice jacket too. I may well indulge.

Did the KISS America race this morning and came home 5th. Didn't quite have the fire in my legs after yesterday but happy to average over 300W for 66 minutes.

I am having to resist lots of stuff that appears on the Lancashire cycle link 'selling page'

I'm looking at early spring to get a powermeter, mabie 500-600 notes budget , will my option be limited to single side garmin pedal or a stages ?

nice riding OJ, you seem more sold on the zwift since you ironed out the issues you were having.

Still have the same issues mate, just found a way to bypass them.

With that in mind, Have eventually got me onto the iPad beta trial so will be using that for zwift (if it works) for the foreseeable. Will try it out later.

First attempt failed. Won't control the kickr in erg mode. Frustrating but as its a beta I'll let it slide.

Back on the Mac managed 3 sets of 5 minutes at 375W. Would love 2 x 8 minutes by the end of the year. That'd put me comfortably over the 4w/kg barrier.

Just been at the London 6 Day track event. Great watching Cav and Wiggo win the Madison!

Love the way the organisers have jazzed the event up to make the velodrome look like a night club!

Had tickets and then an ill child stopped play. I knew I should have been sterilised to prevent that type of potential problem.

It was a great night out and really good atmosphere.

Say what you like about Wiggins but watching him and Cav take a lap in less than 4 was pretty special. When he puts the hammer down its something else.

I took my eldest to watch the british champs at the Manchester velodrome and it was superb live !

not massively into the 40+ lap race as I just didn't know what was happening except fastness

IIRC the original 6 days were pretty much held in Nightclubs - imagine trying to peddle your way through a brown miasma of stale beer and cigars!

Dead right. The Belgian six day races were just piss-ups with a cycling backdrop, which sounds pretty damn good.

the clocks going back gives us a nice extra hour this weekend but it seems the SZR races on Zwift will be at 5pm and not 6pm ... makes it trickier for me to do them , which is a bugger.

It certainly does - though those things can be pretty hard to keep a track of when you're stone-cold sober, so how it must be after several sherries I couldn't imagine... Happy

Try 160 laps!

I actually find the long races much easier to follow at the velodrome than watching on tv. It did get a bit harder after the 5th pint. In fact there were a lot of pissed up people by the end. Many of them getting on bikes to cycle home...
