Seeing as a few of us on here doing these and a few threads about them i thought I'd create a dedicated thread a la Wayne's Zercher thread

Add your numbers and I'll edit this first post for a league table.

Rule: standard powerlifting deadlift from floor overhand, no hook grip
on deadlift bar or power bar. Anything else goes hitching, belts, equipped, done whilst giving purple aki inverse squats .. whatever

Chalked
Sasquatch .. whatever Eddie hall does + 10kg, for reps @ very huge
paul savage .. 260kg @ 110kg
matthewvc .. 250kg @ 91kg
unit94 .. 250kg @ 130kg
scruffmcbuff .. 240kg @ 135kg
bim .. 230kg @ 105kg
93hopkinsonr .. 225kg @ 95kg
CAJ .. 225kg @ 135kg
mark_f1 .. 220kg @ 105kg
general ill .. 210kg @ 89kg
henk .. 210kg @ 115kg
ramsay777.. 202.5kg @97kg
oxman .. 200kg @ 95kg
danbasely .. 200kg @ 98kg
macroth ..200kg @ 103kg
hifilover .. 200kg @ 136kg
Dannyboy73 .. 197.5kg@90.5kg
Macca .. 195kg @ 83kg (cheaty DL bar)
oxman .. 195kg @95kg
ramsay777 .. 195kg @96kg
kennybaby .. 190kg @ 90kg
EllD90 .. 190kg @117kg
"Big Rory" .. 180kg @ 90kg
stevenfatty .. 180kg @110kg
Macca .. 167.5kg @ 83kg (proper eleiko bar)
pikefingers .. 160kg @ 93kg
Jackrevans .. 150kg @ 80kg (was for reps however)

Chalk free
purple aki .. 300@120kg (failed 150kg.. then psyched himself up by imagining he's squeezing CAJ's biceps at absolute fitness)
matthewvc .. 215@91kg
henk .. 200kg@115kg
Danbasely .. 182.5kg@98kg
oxman .. 180@95kg
mark_f1.. 180@105kg
Kirkynick .. 175@92kg
baconwarrior .. 170@106kg

Axle
the savage .. 228kg @ 110kg
unit94 .. 180kg @ 130kg
hifilover .. 173kg @ 133kg
mark_f1 .. 170kg @ 105kg
CAJ .. 163kg @ 135kg- note: this is the limit of what is an 'acceptable' lift
danbasely .. 160kg @98kg
matt1613 .. 155kg @ 106kg
oxman .. 145kg @ 95kg
Floobler .. 140kg @ 97kg
wayne .. 140kg @ 98kg
macroth .. 140kg @ 103kg
lone wolf .. 140kg @105kg ("bar as smooth as akabusi's member") *(1)
"Big Rory" .. 135kg @ 90kg
Wiegieboard .. 115kg @93kg (smooth)
pikefingers .. 110kg @ 93kg *(2)

*1 - I cannot vouch for the smoothness of the venerable Mr Kezie Uchechukwu Duru Akabusi (MBE)'s Johnson, but trust it is silky smooth enough to satisfy the classiest of Lithuanian vadge, in a way that even hench-Z would be jealous.

*2 - both wiegieboard and pikefingers are the same BW.. however.. as wiegieboard
has video evidence of a smooth axle pull he is the higher place.

Although I doubt I'll participate (I no longer perform any sort of dead lift), I enjoy this contribution to Sugden and will be following with interest Happy

Ok, I'll give this a go. Current best is 200kg at about 105 with a little more there, I'll try max out on it next week.

I'll change it to just a PL deadlift - gripping bar is same for either

200kg on an oly bar... Never really pushed it on this, so this'll spur me on to now Grin

173kg (t**t) on my axle... This is a priority this year, so will keep reporting back with updates!

nice lift CAJ. it's funny how little weight needs to be added to go from solid grip to falling out hands very quickly.
table updated too.

I stupidly jumped to 230 knowing that it would make a huge difference. Should have tried 225 in hindsight but I find grip is one of those things which once it fails it becomes very fatigued. I tried 225 afterwards but grip unravelled about 2 inches off the floor.

strange how it goes and i have same problem: like you only get one big 90%+ effort then it goes to s**te.
so you must choose that weight wisely.

Just a point of order, but the type of bar can make a big difference.

My best on a 27mm deadlift bar is 195kg whilst it's only 167.5kg on an elieko power bar....
