Blocks n squats

Ok so a game of two halves today
Block pull 12" warm up then 260x1 x2 super happy with hat it's a pb at that height .

But here's where it's all gone to s**t so warmed up then
180x3
180x3
190x3
200x3
200x1 then something happened to a muscle in the hamstring high up almost as if in the groin but not quite, the sall mercy is that I felt it strain but not full on pain so I'm hoping maybe two or three weeks I should be able to go again,pissed of really as it all seemed to be going well,although I think it's all part of the Same problem...need to stretch more, did 15 mins brisk walk on the treadmill to get some blood into the area think this might e a big set back but have to see Confused

Groins nothing but trouble the lot of them lol fingers crossed it heals up fast.

Thanks Stephen, I'm just going to try not to aggregate it and hope .......how's that for rehab lol.

My nuts and bolts turned purple 2 years ago and groin was toast. Then in a comp last year I felt it pulling running the yooke. I think it should be okay until I start running with 600! I may just try to not worry about timing if I am the latter of the competitors and the old fogies are creeping. Mike tumminello ran 60 feet 690 two year ago in 9.8 seconds so I know that's not happening. I'll be in the 20's

Cheers billy I will follow your advice, think I cought it just before any catastrophic injury but catastrophe can start with a small chain reaction so not taking any chances.

Bench day
Felt very tired this am was even thinking of skipping today but went in anyway all be it an hour late,
Warm up bar x20ish / 60x 10/ 100x10/140x1/ then got carried away 160x1/ 170x1/ loaded 180 as 170 seemed comfy but thought better of it
Then did :
155x3 felt heavy
155x3. Felt to heavy
153x3 started to feel better once I got my line and pattern dialled in
155x3 good
155x3 better
155x3 bit tired but good
155 x3 best of the sets: I think when you start to tire we cost rate even harder on form and path. Possible expectation ?
155x3 ok tiniest bit s**t.
Sling shot Maddog 3x3 @ 180 phased very confident.
Cgbp feet up off a pinch block 3x10 @ 100kg very easy but just being watchful over my front shoulder.
AMH press 4x10 22.5kg bar plus small plate Grin
Lean back pulldown 3 x12
Wide tricep pull down 4x15 l15 (heavy) enjoyed this session never felt so confident with the heavier weights but can really tell now if my path is off,

Hey Gez good to hear from you, Im still not quite where I want to be so think I'm going to stick to the plan to have a go next year for sure I'd also like to loose a few pounds.
