I'm hoping for 340-350kg in next 12 months mate, need to be sensible in the way I go about it. I can't really afford it but I think I need a coach.

I know what you mean its not cheap i think depending on who you get it starts about £100 a month.

Smart call taking your time but at the rate your progressing i see that falling before the time frame you set.

Yeah and its knowing who to go for if I could afford it lol! Guess i'll just keep plodding.
Hope so mate, I need to be sensible in the way I rebuild after peaking. I will be doing 8 weeks of bodybuilding after this peak before moving into another strength phase...I need it mentally more than anything.

Yes mate...consolidate the gains I have got and strengthen some individual bodyparts that may be weaker and give my cns a bit of a break and my mind from having to hit x number of kg for x number of reps. Been hammering it literally a year now and I need to heal a bit.

3 more weeks to dig in and hot some higher numbers yet if poss tho!

Makes sense mate i think even when you go into your bodybuilding phase its will be a PB everyweek lol.

I feel you on this, I so need a coach but money is a massive issue plus there doesn't seem a lot around here,and the once hat are well they have the paper work at least lol.

Lol...well its only for 8 weeks then back on to another strength cycle...short 8 weeker...need to get planning!

I think its just getting to the point a coach could take me that bit further, not had a coach for a long time and I've done ok on my own but I think I need it to get to the ultra level i'm after. Money not there though.
And yes like you say its finding one too.

Second Press session of the week and wasn't sure what to do rep wise so just headed in and warmed up. Atmosphere in gym was decent and things went well...
 
Bench Press
 
60kg x 10
80kg x 10
100kg x 5

Well that was fun...warm ups were odd...120 felt heavy the 140 loaded and it felt nothing, 160 moved a tad slowly but I threw caution to the wind as body was feeling very good and confidence crazy high and loaded 185kg. Felt light unracking and I knew I had it right away, moved a tad slow but never in doubt...probably a dumb move as I only pressed 182.5kg Monday but I am making hay while the sun shines. Dropped to 3 plates and it felt silly light, was sure i'd nail 10 but I died on lockout on the 10th, pleased enough with it though.
 
I decided to do some strict barbell pressing for the first time in a few months and was goaded my my mate to try 100kg...a weight on a barbell I have always massively struggled with...
 
Barbell Strict Press
 
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 1 easy...had reps there
105kg x 1 pb
107.5kg x 1 pb
 
Very out of practice but 100 was silly easy, its never felt so easy. 105 and 107.5kg both moved ok, 110kg there I think...will have a pop next few weeks before dropping weight for reps in my hypertrophy phase I have approaching. Buzzing still at this point.
 
Side Lateral cable Raise
 
20kg x 10 rep pb

15kg x 20
 
Strength up again and solid, clean reps, much rather cables for side laterals these days as any cheating is just impossible, great pump.
 
High Cable Bicep Curls
 
15kg x 20
20kg x 20
25kg x 20
30kg x 20 rep pb
 
Not done in ages but the pump was unreal and felt brilliant.
 
Left it there, again minimising volume as intensity so high. Squats tomorrow, unsure of weights/reps i'm going with, will decide when I get in and how warm ups feel.

More craziness mate, you're bounding from PB to PB like a man possessed. All looking very comfortable with more in the tank. Overheads looks like you got a good 5kg more at least.

Thanks mate...i'm thinking repping next week for bench then maybe try a 187.5..maybe just maybe a 190kg to finish the peak off the week after.
Will try a 110-115kg Strict press fresh too and maybe a 120+ push press, see how it goes!

Pleased with that...makes 4 sessions in a row this week I have pb'd in. Warm ups felt great all the way through...200kg felt very quick and was not an issue so decided to have a pop at another max seeing as I am near the end of this strength block now. Put 5kg on to my 230kg max and it felt light on the back but damn it was an all out effort, nothing more there but tbh it never felt in doubt, was just slow but as a lifelong poverty squatter i'm pleased. No more 1rm attempts now on squats, that's the limit, may try a few rep pb's in the final few weeks but I am very very pleased with how I have improved on my squats.

Filmed set 2...I have no idea if i'm doing them right...any input welcome. Don't feel them in hams as such...glutes lats and lower back were massively pumped though.
 
And called it there, limiting volume still. Feeling very happy with the way lifts have gone this week and looking forward to a weekend of relaxation. Good weekend all.

NICE SQUAT! No longer a poverty squatter mate that's for sure.

Looks like you need to push your hips back more on those RDLs. Once you "find" your hamstrings you'll know you've got them right. Forget about the bar up and down bit, instead think about hips back and forth. So you start the rep from the top, push you hips right back (which lowers the bar). When they are back and you have a good old stretch in the hammies, push the hips forward again (which raises the bar). I hope that makes sense. I've only done RDLs a few times so take everything I say with a pinch of salt.
