Cheers fellas, it feels like I've found my grove again after the lay off with patella tendonitis. I love squats but without keeping an eye on my mobility and movement patterns I can screw myself over with them. Damned over dominant quads.

This form needs a few weeks to bed in then I'll test it out. My guess would be on about 230 right now. I want reps for the time being though.

A1 Trap Bar Rows
65kg x 10 reps
65kg x 10 reps
65kg x 10 reps
65kg x 10 reps
65kg x 10 reps --I want to introduce a pause at the top. These are getting stricter and stricter but that's what I want from this lift.

A2 Press
bar x 10 reps
60kg x 5 reps
70kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps
--Belt on, wrist wraps on
90kg x 3 reps
100kg x 1 rep
110kg x 1 rep --Heavy but more in the tank
120kg x 0 reps
120kg x 0 reps -- Reasonably close but still a way off. 115kg would have gone, perhaps even 117.5kg

A3 Kneeling Rollouts --Leg out
x 3 reps (Each Side)
x 3 reps (Each Side)
x 3 reps (Each Side)
x 3 reps (Each Side)
x 3 reps (Each Side)

A4 Trap Bar Farmer Walk
65kg x 5m + 5m
65kg x 5m + 5m
65kg x 5m + 5m
65kg x 5m + 5m
65kg x 5m + 5m

I decided to have a bit of a play since I had a rare 5 minutes left.

Trap Bar Drag Rows (or monkey rows but I prefer the former)
bar x 15 reps
bar x 15 reps
bar x 15 reps --A touch extra weight and a smoother cadence and I think this will be a good assistance lift.

Pin Press -- Forehead height
60kg x 5 reps
90kg x 2 reps
120kg x 0 reps --This is a great variant. I can set this up on a non pressing day and get some heavy reps in right at my weakest point. I need to play with sets and reps but I want to go heavy, weather this is a good idea or not remains to be seen.

Cheers lad. I'm all about speed and explosive power, I'm not a grinder so it either happens or it doesn't, there' no middle ground. With that in mind I'm a way off hitting 120. I plan to add some form of pressing into every session, I need it.

A1 SSB Walking Lunges
bar x 6 reps + 6 reps
bar x 6 reps + 6 reps
bar x 6 reps + 6 reps
bar x 6 reps + 6 reps
bar x 6 reps + 6 reps --No glute pump today so I think I'm safe to start adding reps. I'd like to load this up but while it's still crippling me I need to play safe.

A2 Half Kneeling Landmine Twists + Press
15kg x 5 reps + 5 reps (Each Side)
15kg x 5 reps + 5 reps (Each Side)
15kg x 5 reps + 5 reps (Each Side)
--Sacked off the twists as my abs were fried. Therefore I increased the weight for the press. Logic.
30kg x 5 reps (Each Side)
40kg x 5 reps (Each Side) --Could have gone heavier but I was unsure how these would go. I think 50kg would be a good working weight. The half kneeling position make everything feel off balance so tightness is a must.

Trap bar Deadlift --Low Handles
85kg x 5 reps
135kg x 5 reps
--Belt on
175kg x 3 reps
195kg x 1 reps --I'd set my training max at 200kg and today's single was meant to be 190kg but this was super easy.
215kg x 1 reps
245kg x 1 rep --Misaligned my grip and the bar tipped forward, I pretty much held it with my index and middle fingers. Got it though but it did make the lift oh so slow.

Finally managed to adjust my rack so I can get some bodyweight hamstring work in.

Kneeling Hip Extension
x 3 reps
x 3 reps --Cramp death. It's fair to say I'm bad at these which is great. I t means there a huge potential for improvement.

Cheers mate. I love the trap bar. Mines a heavy duty one that can take 400kg. You'd need something like that. Anything else and you'll max and destroy it lol.

Considering your grip wasn't right you made that pull look fast and easy mate another strong session.

Cheers mate. Well it felt slow, I just about managed to control it but you can see the bar trying to tip forward. I haven't done enough reps with this setup yet to get a good feel for placement.

Thanks John. I love the trap bar and it loves me. Regular deadlifts take too much out of my from a recovery point of view. If I do them every week I burn out quickly but adding in the trap bar or some other variant on the off weeks is very helpful.

KB Swings
7.5kg x a lot. Needed to warm up the hammies.

Kneeling Hip Extension
x 3 reps
x 3 reps --Keeping the volume low for now yet frequency high.

A1 1xDB Rows
40kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
50kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
80kg x 5 reps (Each Side)
80kg x 5 reps (Each Side)
100kg x 3 reps (Each Side) --Just about hit a 3rd before my grip failed. This is pretty much bodyweight (I'm 15st 11lb so I'm a hair over 100kg). TBH I didn't expect to get anything but gave it a go anyway. Very happy with this.

A2 Bench Press
60kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps
100kg x 5 reps
--Belt and wrist wraps on.
125kg x 3 reps
140kg x 1 rep --I haven't used my belt for bench before and I don't really know what I'm doing. Of all the lifts bench hold very little interest for me. I'm going to keep it in but I'm not giving it much attention. Hit the minimums and get out of dodge. This rep was easy enough and I've got more in the tank. I'm happy with this for now.

A3 Pin Press
60kg x 5 reps
90kg x 3 reps
100kg x 4 reps --Video
100kg x 2 reps
100kg x 3 reps --A bit more volume at a high % of max at my weakest point. That's good going in my book.
