We were both beat up for today's training but feeling good overall. Thinking 272kg/600lb trap bar x 10 beltless on Thursday. Will probably go straight to 120kg on the double pause Romanians as got way behind on time and missed them last week. Also missed yoke, probably do 235kg. Becca is having a lighter week as that 221kg x 10 trap bar nearly killed her.

My body weight was 170.4kg before training tonight (almost 27 stone).

Not best pleased with how training went yesterday, just didn't feel strong. I think there were two main reasons in that my extensors are beat up from wraping wrists too tight and also tweaking my back picking up the empty trap bar. Will loosen up how I'm putting the wrist wraps on and add extensor training to titan telegraph (doing this most days, haven't filmed it). Most likely will do 301kg for 5 on trap bar next time adding belt and knee sleeves then maybe try 250kg yoke. Yoke went really bad yesterday due to having to rush as gym was shutting. Had to go from 155kg to 235kg and didn't get the balance right either but next time will make sure there's more time. It seems to get more and more swingy as you add more weight. I realised can shorten the straps simply by puting them through the other gaps to create knots. Need to do a second as plates were still hitting the ground. For whatever reason my back randomly cracked a bunch on each side as soon as I sat in the car after training and feels ok now.

Really sore from yesterday, chest especially. Switching to smith should get Becca's shoulder back to health a bit but also should help build some muscle. Feel like we have been missing a trick with the close grip bench as almost every time we fail its due to bar path being off forward or backwards, sometimes getting nowhere near the reps were capable off. Hard to push the muscles that way. Also next week will add a 3rd training day back in to again build some muscle and get some extra back work in. Feel like I'm starting to get a touch better body composition now but hopefully can improve it a good bit more before the years out. Hopefully get to 27 and a half stone (26st 13lb now). 300kg x 5 trap bar on Thursday.
