Cheers mate it certainly didnt feel awesome but hopefully after a couple weeks ill be in the swing of things and will show some signs of improvements.

Started to get a bit of a bad chest hoping it dont lead to an infection but my youngest is off school with it so im sure its going to do its rounds.

My bad knee was giving me a few issues on the leg press so had to drop it down and up the reps.

Im not keen on training in the gym sometimes i find it hard to keep that motivation i definitely much prefer training in my garage.

Well you certainly did that, crazy reps. Hows does it feel today? Your legs days are epic, they're like a saga unto themselves.

Lol cheers mate they have gotten used to the volume now and there's no pain in my groin now but I need to build up the full range of motion, also depending on what work iv had I need to adjust the weight to suit.

I'm definitely a convert I much prefer training at home now I just need to get a few more bits of kit, the angled football bar and now I want to add a trap bar to that list.

It can be damned expensive collecting speciality bars. A builder mate of mine has been telling me about some scaffold place he knows that doe 1" threaded tubes. It's been giving me ideas. Certainly looks a cheaper option.

Not looking like ill be getting much training done this week iv got a chest infection and its knocked me for 6, after carpet fitting the last thing i want to do is go out to the garage and train so im going to deload this week and hopefully it will have cleared enough by next Monday.

Looks like there is a lot of colds and flu about at the moment I feel s**t just now, if you can get the raw metal you'll be surprised at how easy these things are to make or get made. A footy bar should be pretty easy for a good welder.

The time off has given me time to sort my training and I'll be going on to an upper/lower 4 day split and on the off days there will be a focus on fitness and cardio.
