Nice couple of sessions mate. Neoprene sleeves are a must for training in a cold environment. I use mine everyday on both knees and elbows.

Like a complete loon I also use my own brand of heat rub. I've mixed a teaspoon of this:
http://www.hotsauceemporium.co.uk/shop/capsaicin-extracts/194/...

With a tub of generic moisturiser. This stuff is insane, it gets so hot its actually painful. It's a good motivator as you have to keep moving or burn. Tendons love it though.

Ha we're are polar opposites. It's all good though mate, you're putting in the effort and getting stuff done. If squats have to progress at a much reduced rate compared to other lifts then so what. You're still out kicking arse and taking names, that's the important part.

TUESDAY - 06-MARCH-2018

SQUAT

20kg x 10
70kg x 5
80kg x 5
90kg x 5
90kg x 5
90kg x 5
90kg x 5
90kg x 5

DB SLDL

30kg x 8
30kg x 8
30kg x 8
30kg x 8

CALF RAISES

120kg x 8
120kg x 8
120kg x 8
120kg x 8

SPLIT SQUAT

BW x 8
BW x 8

Finally got to test out my new knee sleeves and have to say I'm more than happy with them its the first time iv actually been able to squat without any discomfort and my knee felt stable and secure the whole time.

Split squats were hard and will slowly increase them until I can hit 4 sets then will introduce weight once I feel more stable.
