Cheers Danny yes touch wood no injuries yet, I was having a chat with somebody who said a 200kg is a descent bench...still have a way to go then Eek but injury wise I'm making sure I hit the little back and shoulder muscle that might get neglected it seems to be doing the trick...although starting to find my limit il surprise myself if I get 180 for a double, my mind can't seem to get around it Roll-Eyes

last rep felt a strain in my groin near the front this time arggghhh, I'm fed up with writing that but obviously Ive got to look back on this whole journal so have to give an honest account, pissed off really I wanted one more set,on the other hand that is a volume pb for that weight cheap I know lol
Anyway did some chest supported dumbell rows 3x10
Bit of stretching ,it's not a catastrophic injury just a strain so decided to put my enery into recovery than a bit of fluff for today,

Damn mate your benching is epic! We all have a bogey lift mate...yours is deads, mine is squat...just keep pushing mate ...work done that's the main thing.

Cheers oxman, lol yes deadlift is the one I love to do most but seems to get me injured like nothing eles, I will one day get 300 on the dead or die trying.......I've got my tombstone ready ....here lyeth the who died trying to dead 300 lol Roll-Eyes

Done and done,its very similar to the squat injury in that I knocked it on the head before any serious damage was done,got to be smart play the long game......I wont stop Roll-Eyes

Bench with bands +45-50k
Bar weight 140x3/felt heavy /120x3/to light/130x3/135x3/140x3/142.5x3/135x3/130x3/130x3/130x3
Kinda holding back on these today,

Seated dead press pins chin height 5x6@77.5 cheap pb these are hard though
Sacked of front side raise shoulders where burning,
Bench grip tricep pulls 4x15L12
YTWL 3x10 on each ss single arm lat pull,
Got a real burn on today so happy although felt weaker on the bands today.

Bench day today,
Plan was 180x2 for sets
Did 10xbar/60kg x 10/100kg x 10/140 x 3 /160kg x1/180kg x 2 pb for 2s then because it felt good I did 190x1 ta da really happy with that it felt fast smooth and I think there was another 5+ kg to be had, I'm going to see how things go during the week may film it next Monday if I can do it.

Floor dead press pins 5x5@125kg
Db press 3x10@47.5kg x 2
Bench grip tricep pulls 4x15 L12 / ss bicep curl rope 4x10 L7
YTWL 4x10 on each ss single arm lat pull band
So pleased to have done this especially as the wife is going to be having our baby anytime soon Grin I feel like this is a turning point now for the 200 dream Happy

I’m interested to see what people think about the way you bench as I feel you rely way to much on hip thrusting the weight up off your stomach causing you to come off the bench on every rep, there are a few things that need addressing in my opinion, but see what other people think
