Got a session in today as tomorrow I won't get chance, fairly short and sweet today. Another terrible nights sleep, no idea why...not conductive to a good session Unhappy

These are brutal, managed to set them up properly tight and it was tough as hell...120kg flew but 130kg just wasn't happening. No idea how much they add at the top but the unrack feels massively heavy...maybe 30kg a side extra. Went for some speed work after and moved well but damn they make you sore, exercise.

Great session, maybe a little rest and a nice meal will restore your mojo, what kind of resistance do you have on the blacks? May invest in some others

Finally had a good nights sleep last night, still need to catch up on some but its a start, no work today so no rush with the session, only pre workout was a coffee.

Not feeling too bad today...Top set of 220kg was ok and tbf only the second time I have repped 5 plates, this is my 3 rep max..2 was due today, slightly lost line on rep 2 but went up ok. Had old man Clive judging from the side and said I was a good 3" under at the bottom so pleased with depth, won't be bothering trying to cut that though as never works. The 175's felt good, better with belt off tbh, filmed set 4 I think, I slightly narrowed my stance on last few sets and it seems better tbh...more power out of the hole, something to think about. Decent enough for a day with no training partners geeing me up.

Weakness Paused Reverse Band Deadlifts

All moving quite nicely, that pause is a killer on reverse bands...feels good though...strapped up after 3 sets purely for hand health. Whizzed through these, fitness seems to be improving as the weeks go on, coping with workloads better.

Getting these back in again now as they seem to help everything and its purely focused onlegs so back can take a breather. Buried these and they feel so good/bad, best leg accessory machine out there imo. Lad I know was going to do leg press but got him on this and 3 sets in walking was an issue lol!

Iso Hammer Rows

Strength soaring on these and my upper back loves them, such a nice movement and shoulder not feeling any aggrevation...bpc could be working.

Barbell Rows Superset Lying Leg Curls

150kg x 6/85kg x 5

Quick superset to get the work in, rows feeling very good and leg curls are so explosive the pad leaves my calves, then get a slow negative in there. Good quick sets.

And that was that, week 5 done, feeling pretty good, might get my first session of next week in on Sunday to free some time up...starts to get pretty tough next week or 2.

Felt strong going into the session and shoulder had a slight numb ache but much much better than it was. All warm ups felt very easy. The 175kg was ok, rushed the second rep and lost my line, came up to high on the chest and made it tougher but still moved ok. Did a further single with a pause and it moved sweetly. Dropped the weight to 145kg for triples and they felt so easy, moved well. After my triples I repped out and hit a comfy 9. After all the main work I moved to my isometric pressing and speed sets and they felt really good.

Dumbbell Bench Press

Wanted to try something different this week to further hit the chest...these actually feel really good on my shoulder and in fact seem to free it up. Never been up to the 70's before...had another there but left it today. Awesome chest pump from these, something I rarely get.

Strength continuing to creep up on these, good solid reps, lats feeling it.

Machine Preacher Curls

Bicep strength going nuts and an incredible pump from these few sets, arms looked huge.

Incline Dumbbell Flye (palms forward)

Concentrated on a slow deliberate movement and focused on chest, upper chest pumped up nicely.

And that was that, decent work today, feels like I have gone into the net gear so to speak and things starting to increase well, feeling confident and strong.
