Thanks. This is the best my benching has ever been whilst eligible for IPF comps. I did hit 160 for a casual single before, but that was whilst inly eligible for untested comps.

I want to see if deadlifting on concrete yields better results than pulling on 20mm rubber flooring, because the scales show about 15% less on the latter and I'm sure there's a fair bit of energy loss.

I'm still injured all over though.

Deadlifts yesterday. Decided to go with the fast descent and rip it straight up instead of setting up and taking the slack out of the bar. If you've seen Chris Jenkins deadlift, you'll know the style. But with added hook grip.

Bench - plan was 100kg for 10 sets of 10, whilst realistically getting 5 or 6 sets.

60kg x 10

100kg x 10 - felt like there was about 15 in the tank
100kg x 10 - felt like there was about 12 in the tank
100kg x 10 - felt like there was about 9 in the tank, just about locked out.

Lat pulldowns

Seated shoulder press, no back support
60kg x 8, then some woman came over whilst I was dying trying to sell me a newspaper to raise money for some spastic kid. I told her I was a spastic kid who could do with about 6 grand for aircon and national insurance/pension backpayments.
