Band Rows x 25 reps x 25 reps x 25 reps A1 Front Squat 70kg x 8 reps 100kg x 8 reps 100kg x 8 reps --I've noticed when the reps get hard I pull on the straps harder. Today this resulted in me lifting the bar off my shoulders. That's a nice win for my triceps strength but not so good for my front squats. Ideally I want to stick with this weight but I may be forced to go a bit heavier. A2 Kneeling Hip Extensions x 10 reps x 10 reps B1 Deadlift --Hook Grip 90kg x 3 reps 120kg x 3 reps 160kg x 1 rep 200kg x 1 rep -- All reps rapid. Steaming through these so I'd have time for the RB work. --Reverse Bands on, Straps on, Wide Grip 265kg x 5 reps -- Heavy but easy. Wis I had the time for more sets. B2 Facedown Incline Curls 30kg x 8 reps 30kg x 8 reps 30kg x 8 reps --Er these were super easy today. Last weeks my eyes wanted to pop out and today I wanted to load up. Was it just that I was having a bad week last week or is something else a factor. | ||

I can feel a third just starting to hold but not effective yet. Once this third finger comes into play my grip should be very solid indeed. I didn't consider mobility to be a factor for hook grip but thumb mobility is clearly very important. | ||

My hips go way to far back. Therefore I need to open my hips more. However my adductors do not allow this so I need to work on some mobility. That should have a double effect of helping my squats and high round house kick. Winner winner chicken dinner. 175kg x 6 rep 175kg x 3 reps --Cut the reps a bit as the last one were getting a bit sloppy. 175kg x 3 reps A2 Facedown Incline Curls 30kg x 8 reps 40kg x 8 reps --Default PB by 10kg. Feels like a good working weight. Ideally I want to hit 60kg by year end. 40kg x 8 reps 40kg x 8 reps | ||

What a wake up call. All sorted now but I could eat yesterday apart from a small meal fairly late in the evening. Joy of joys. A1 Trap Bar Rows bar x 10 reps 65kg x 10 reps 85kg x 10 reps 85kg x 10 reps 85kg x 10 reps A2 Dead Press bar x 10 reps bar x 10 reps bar x 10 reps 60kg x 6 reps 70kg x 6 reps 80kg x 6 reps -- Couldn't get the tension and thus stability need to keep the weight overhead. Definitely a side effect of the IBS. I'm a bit narked at this but at the same point I hit 80kg which is my maintenance weight so it nothing else I shouldn't go backwards. Wednesdays overhead session should mop this up anyway.
