Still struggling for energy, day off to party with my son tomorrow though so who knows maybe he'll nap and i can catch up on my sleep.

Loads of mobility work today, before and during my working sets.
Only up to 270 on the daily max, while i know i could've gone heavier im not convinced i could've moved 290 at full speed.

Not a fan of fasted training, but it was the only time i could get a session in today.
First time I've tried my 185 stone, actually quite surprised how close it was.

Really happy with todays session.
Conditioning is in a much better place than i expected, and strength feels great.
The 140 log might actually be a PB for a raw + beltless lift, but who keeps track of that stuff?

You're not alone mate. I quit before I even started yesterday because of the heat. Started warming up and just decided nope.

Im a little surprised Rhi allowed this. Though truth be told, i might have been better off doing the same.

Much happier with todays session.
Still drained from the heat, so ditched the planned high reps and just decided to see where im at before i start peaking.
Pretty happy with the 270, about another 10kg in the tank, and 10kg heavier than my previous best in neoprenes.
The set in wraps was a very easy 5, ended by my desire not to s**t all over my squat platform.

Had hoped for another rep or 3 on the 300, but just didn't have the energy after the last couple of days (full disclosure, i may have lost my bottle when the clips fell off). Brightside, the 7 reps were reasonably comfy, and the farmers was a fun way to end things. Cant be that many guys capable of a 200kg 'hold' without straps.

Tinkered my usual peaking plan to accommodate the fact I'm still hoping to get an englands invite, but also need to prep for the Xplosive ape northern qualifier. Hopefully it works well, as both comps sport a stacked line up so i cant afford to tank another overhead event.
Cleans feeling unusually powerful on log, so thats a nice start. Im hoping that wasn't related to the fact i did my log work beltless, because I'll need the belt to press once the weights get heavier.
Push press didn't feel so powerful, but as it was done after strict press, rather than as the primary exercise, that wasn't really a surprise.

Fairly happy with how all of this went, except for the crippling lower back pump, that wasnt so much fun.
All squat variants feeling strong, surprisingly so in the case of the front squats, which were primarily added back in to improve my rack position on axle press.

Happy enough with this.
Wanted a bit heavier on farmers, but grip was shot after yesterdays holds.
Needed a lot of singles on 140 to get log feeling smooth, but final set felt pretty decent. If its not there yet, 160 isn't far away.

Good session today.
Cleans feeling very powerful, and confident i could've smashed my PB of 5 reps at 130 even on the final set without sleeves.
