Not sure about the ratio, not the formula.

I alternate between light and heavy. light is for technique, heavy is for the gains. I think the weight for the light sessions is fairly arbitrary, whereas the heavy sessions are very strategically planned, every session being a cleverly placed step between the last session and the next.

This was my last training session for about a week. On Wednesday night I am heading to a residential recording studio in Wirral for 5 days to record my bands debut EP with a producer who is also in one of my favorite bands of all time, Conan, and has recorded loads of heavy duty bands like Napalm Death, Electric Wizard and many many more. I am f**king excited about this, way more excited than I am about training at the moment.
