The number of irrelevant ego stroking replies posted is exactly what puts me off posting on Sugden. Or maybe I won't get any replies as my workouts are pants. One workout appears to have 10 posts congratulating the lifter on what could be a regular workout. I do enjoy being nosey and viewing people's profiles for workout ideas - ShaneJer's being one, for example.

I'm borderline Asperger's. I like just numbers and facts! If I had one or two replies per workout, then fair enough. Same for constructive criticism when posting videos etc. There just seems to be far to many replies for each workout, and I know i'd get frustrated when trying to find workouts because i'd have to trawl through pages and pages of "good workout" comments.

Is it possible to create a thread and have it so only you can add new posts? Or would that be something admin can do?

Bah Humbug!

It's a forum not a private website! It's what forums are for, a community!!

Or it would incite an arguement etc. I could bribe someone so they can give me moderator priveledges, then delete all the nice things people say.

Just make your training routines as boring as mine and you won't have to worry about people posting

It's still a young journal. Nearly 1 reply per 10 views Is that a good or bad thing?

It's getting less new faces since i haven't been posting Meal of the Day every time, i think i need to bring it back.

The fact that this isn't an automatic conclusion must mean he wants people to look at it......but not post?
