The most I think I ever ate was 7 portions of a half chicken, chips and spicy rice. It was in a BBQ place run by a Saffa on Ko Samui and I had been craving some Western food for weeks.

Even the two 20 stone + yanks with us were amazed.

Perhaps more impressive was my mate putting away 7 portions of surf and turf. He only weighted 160lbs....

I'm a pathetic eater for a 140kg dude. I struggle to finish a large Domino's pizza by myself.

Did you do full moon party? Strange liquids and possibly dead bodies floating about the next morning lol.

Mushroom milkshakes were great though.

Never heard of it mate, what does that involve?
I just like eating lots of food Happy

Competitive eaters use water the day before a competition to stretch out the stomach, whilst ensuring it isn't full for a prolonged period of time. I think the top guys get about 8 litres in the evening before a competition, although it's pretty dangerous as it can perforate the lining of the stomach and lead to diluting all the electrolytes. I find I can only get about a litre in one go, then I can't be bothered to go again an hour later.

I watched an eating contest on TV once, it was in America.

About 14 Big Texan biker looking folk and then this random asian who weighed about 60kg, he smoked em at eating hotdogs.

He was some world champion at eating so smaller must be better!

Takeru Kobayashi. Better than Joey Chestnut. Most of the really good eaters are small. Less fat to get in the way of a stomach = more space for the stomach to expand. Forgotten the name of a really pretty girl who beats the 30 stone eaters. Oriental girl.

Like a lot of you I could eat a lot more when I was smaller - used to routinely put away two 12" pizzas, a half-pound cheeseburger and chips in the evening after a cooked breakfast and lunch, at 100 kg not training.

At about 17 ate a "challenge" steakhouse meal of 48oz rump, chips, mushrooms and onion rings and probably peas (not sure any more), thereby getting it free. Had dessert too Happy.

Yeah, it would be Kobayashi i expect, and it generally takes place at a place called Nathans, in Coney Island, New York. I went there once and had a few, they were pretty easy to eat lots of i thought

I watched a documantary on Kobayashi when i was in Japan, he was on a lot of TV shows there too. Some of his eating feats were incredible. The speed as well as the ability to hold volume
