Didn't realise Andy had a book.

I shall get it on my Christmas list.

I wouldn't bother with Benni's cookbook - the macronutrients are WAY off, as are the kcals for the macronutrients. Good ideas, but the info isn't reliable.

Theres not that many good books, fred hatfields Powerlifting a scientific aproach is a classic but perhaps dated now. dan Austin has written one recently which is quite good.

Good books BB.

Also:

Pavels PTP Professional, which is a PL book on russian methods.
Ditillo's 2 books, which you can get as reprints from the states. Worthwhile.
Hepburns bio, but you can get the gist of his training info online.
Bench Press, from Ironmind. Cool book on Bench routines of the greats.

A few more guys like Starr, it's probably worth just ripping articles off the net.

Hi Fazc - where can you get these from please?

I'd recommend The Purposeful Primitive by Marty Gallagher and also, The Man, The Myth, The Method by Ed Coan/Gallagher, I sent Ed Coan an email and got mine from him direct.

Purposeful Primitive by Marty Gallagher

Pretty good. Talks about some strength legends from the last 60 years or so and shows you how they trained. Also goes into food and even the spiritual and mental side.
