I have been asked to leave David Lloyd as I was making Bangor much noise from deadlifting and damaging the floor Unhappy the pt told me I need to get people to spot me when I Deadlift, when I asked how that's possible they explained get someone on either end of the bar.

From what I have read, I wondered (and could be wrong) if them saying about the dad not being qualified to coach is it the pt's that are complaining and worried it will effect the amount of business they get? Like they're trying to show they have power. Does seem a little odd they would kick someone out who's doing a good job of promoting their business

Jamie Reeves was asked to make less noise whilst deadlifting......in his own frigging gym!

You WSM guys are clearly a liability Grin

When i first went to the gym i glanced over at the weights and saw relatively big guys lifting relatively big weights. I could barely bench the bar without wobbling everywhere. I did feel intimidated and didn't feel like shuffling between them all to struggle with 40kg.

Now of course i should have stopped being a pussy bellend and just trained, which i did do a short while later.

Anyway what im getting at is unfortunately it probably does scare potential customers off. Grin

This of course only applies to 'fitness' gyms i would have thought.

EDIT: IM NOT SIDING WITH THE 'THROWER OUTERERS' BY THE WAY

Feel sorry for her.

Noone gives a f**k at my gym.

You could actually have a s**t on the deadlift platform and still keep your membership.

Ridiculous that she's been kicked out.
This is so true though. At the commercial gym Lifestyle fitness first time I trained there when it first opened one of the PTs who loved himself too much got his knickers in a twist as I had my equipment bag in the gym with me. It had my belt, kit etc.. He said they 'didnt want that sort of thing here'!! I replied 'what, strength training?!' No chalk allowed there either. Pissed me off and I don't train there much as have to carry all my stuff around in my hands lol.

You mean Mohawk guy?

I've just been. He had a client so i walked right next to them put my huge bag down chalked up and started DLing LOL I think because he was training someone he kept quiet.

I was gone before he finished his session.

EDIT: Not close enough to disrupt them, that would be out of line.

That's a pretty s**tty set up tbh. I "train" at an FF gym in Romford and the guys let you do what you like. Also liberal with regards to chalk, headbands etc. Hope they (gym) get a s**t storm.

As a gym owner this make me laugh my tits off, It just demonstrates how many idiots own and run gyms.
Or I must be to soft because if someone that trains at my gym wins a national title they get a free years membership, why the f**k would you want to ask someone whos achieved something to leave Confused Confused Confused

Someone once made a complaint about me wearing a t-shirt with a union jack on it in a gym. The owner came over and quietly asked me if I was a racist!?
Seems sad, but they're probably better off out of there if it's full of people who get offended by headbands. Roll-Eyes

I was told that my deep heat in the gym was anti-social behaviour by the manager. I asked him to come back to me when he had a genuine complaint and that deep heats time and place is in the gym....

In an attempt to redress the balance somewhat - I applaud this - all the gyms I've been to have been bodybuilding gyms, almost all the competitive guys never paid a bean.

If you want to run a health club then don't have equipment there that builds any muscle - call it "Curves" or a "toning club" and you're set.

If you buy a bar and some weights then some people are going to want to lift them.

It's like owning a basketball court and moaning about squeeky shoes !

How about if they then get their title taken away from them because they failed a drugs test?
