Pressing -

Decided to stick with the 6 doubles on push press as it's served me well so far. I'm going to stick with this for a few weeks then go for another 1 rep max attempt.


Push Press 90 secs rest between sets -

70kg x 5
90kg x 3

(6x2 96% 1rm)

115kg x 2 Reps PB Grin
115kg x 2
115kg x 2
115kg x 2
115kg x 2
115kg x 2

All were comfortable and first few felt like they flew up so happy with that Grin Just need to keep going with the progression and hopefully I'll be hitting 130kg in the next month or so.


CGBP -

70kg x 10
90kg x 5
120kg x 2

(6x1 98.3% 1rm)

142.5kg x 1
142.5kg x 1
142.5kg x 1
142.5kg x 1
142.5kg x 1
142.5kg x 1


All smooth enough bar the 4th rep were I lost my line and messed up my breathing so had to grind it out but hey ho at least I managed to still get it. 6 singles on 100% of my 1rm max (145kg) and then go for a new PB the week after. Think there's at least 150kg there but would like to get 155kg.


Raises Tri-set (Lateral, Front, Rear) -

12kg x 8,8,8
12kg x 8,8,8
12kg x 8,8,8


Bicep Tri-set (supinating, hammer and reverse curl) -

12kg x 8,8,8
12kg x 8,8,8
12kg x 8,8,8


Massive gun pump giant set/complex thing


Complex D - 4 sets of 5 reps on each with 90 secs rest in between rounds -

40kg Barbell

Jump Squat
Squat
Squat with 10 second pause
Military press
Push Press
Squat with behind the neck press


Was well and truly f**ked after that lot! Complex D was definitely harder than yesterdays complex and my shoulder were screwed come to the the behind the neck presses on the last 2 rounds and nearly failed the last 2 presses on the final round! Got to say I feel like I get a lot more out of complexes than I would pounding a treadmill so will keep going with them and will through in some skipping/running/weighted walking in the morning for additional cardio. With any luck I can shed some serious timber and become a leaner hairy, ginger man not just a walking jelly baby which turns into a wheezing mess if it has to break into a brisk walk Tongue I will get fitter dear readers, you watching this space Grin

Cheers bud Happy yea singles are working wonders for bench and CG but found doubles seem to work better for push press and nothing seems to work for my deadlifts lol! Not up to your standard of 10+ singles though! 6 is about my limit Tongue

Complexes definetly sound better than the treadmill but they also sound like torture lol
