Have any of you guys tried a golf ball for release or is it better to use something with a bit of give?

Depends on what your realising and who you talk too, I personally prefer harder balls for glutes but something with a bit of give for upperback.

I've used a golf ball before to access the lower part of the trapezius which is hard to hit with a flat roller. I guess i'm a bit curious as to whether there's any risk of damage.

My missus has been using a free spinning rolling pin on my back, hamstrings and calves for the past 3 weeks and it's amazing. No more "build up" and I feel very fresh and loose when it comes to training days. Worked well in my last comp between events too.

I have been getting the missis to do the same with the rolling pin, works a treat on the calfs and hamstrings.
