Member 497, 14 posts SQ 192.5, BP 127.5, DL 205525.0 kgs @ 75kgs Eq | 6th Jan 2009 TUES Start. 11.40am PRESS: 45kg (99 pounds) for 5 reps 50kg (110 pounds) for 5 reps (9 sets) DEADLIFT: 60kg (132 pounds) for 5 reps 100kg (220 pounds) for 3 reps 130kg (286 pounds) for 3 reps (6 sets) SQUAT: 60kg (132 pounds) for 5 reps 80kg (176 pounds) for 3 reps *Stopped after the 80kg set. The Rack height in the power rack was busted and wouldn't f**king budge. I was having to go up onto my tip toes to unrack the bar which was too awkward. I was so pissed off I just decided to quit squatting. I'm still pissed! CHINS: BW for 8 reps (5 sets) Finish. 12.50pm COMMENTS: Today was a total nightmare of a session. I've been up since 3 am. Went to bed at around 10:30pm which is early for me. I was tired and thought I'd sleep to around 9am the next morning but instead I awoke at 3am!! Been up ever since. I was a zombie in the gym. Regardless of the lack of sleep today's session made me realise that training four days a week is just too much for me at the moment. I've got some painting projects on the go which I want to spend time on not to mention work so 4 days is too much. I'll begin altering my training back down to 3 days a week. And I think squats and Deadlifts i'll keep to just once a week. | ||
